Boat was nice with exception of the bathrooms. They were super hot and smelled like bait, poop, and throw up. Need to get them AC and better lights and cleaner. Was very disappointed. Embarrassed to send my family in there. Also bait was very small and very few fish caught where we were fishing. The back of the boat maxed out right away while the sides of the boat caught very little to no fish. Pay extra for back if you want to catch fish. Crew was awesome and friendly and inner cabin had AC which was great. Water was fairly rough too for catching so few and small fish. An experience but would not do again. Also took forever to get fish filleted to bring home. Almost an hour plus.

My family and I had an amazing time! I went with my husband and our nieces and nephews who are all under 12 years old. I knew we picked the right charter from the very start. Bobby, one the mates, was especially great with the kids and very patient with me! I was probably the least experienced person on the charter. We caught a good number of fish and got some instagram-worthy pictures! We had a blast and look forward to the next time we charter with this company!

Most bountiful trip we've have in a while. On average you would hear Fish on! About every two minutes. The Deckhands were friendly and fun, except for the blonde female. She was helpful to the men on board, but she went from man to man skipping my daughter and I who had fish on our lines. If not for that I would have given a five star and not a four star rating. I have nothing bad to say otherwise. The cabin was being wiped down every time I went in, and I appreciated the Captains taste in music.

If you're looking for a perfectly clean boat, this trip is not for you. This is a T-top well used fishing boat. We sailed with captain Brett, who was very accommodating. If you are a seasoned angler, bring your own tackle, as the rods and reels on the boat are typical for "tourist" boats. They are older and very well used with line test well above what is needed and the spools were not full nor level winded. Captain Brett was open to me using my own tackle, which I wish I would have known prior to boarding, as I only brought one spinning combo with only one Got-Cha jig. I left my tackle box in the car. We started trolling live cigar minnows almost as soon as we cleared the jetty. I cast my line near the buoy and hooked a Spanish mackerel almost immediately. We only trolled for about 15 minutes before heading out for bottom fishing. Captain Brett was nice enough to allow me to take a couple casts near the buoy before heading out. The only bait on the boat was live cigar minnows. I was a bit disappointed we didn't have squid aboard. Captain Brett had good "numbers" and put us on fish very quickly. In my opinion, the circle hooks we were using were a bit too large and the majority of the live baits were bitten in half or taken off the hooks almost immediately upon reaching the bottom.

I continued casting my only Got-Cha, which was bitten off by a toothy fish. I asked Captain Brett if I could live line a cigar minnow and he was very accommodating by supplying me with a swivel, some stainless steel wire and a circle hook. I casted out the live bait while the others were bottom fishing and eventually hooked up with a nice bonita. Captain Brett took my bottom rig from me, allowing me to hook the bonita on my line which was in a rod holder in freespool. He gaffed the fish easily and even bled it out for us, so we could eat it. We managed to hook some small groupers, snappers, triggerfish and even a remora.

My suggestion, being an accomplished angler would be to troll with lures as well as the cigar minnows, use smaller hooks and bring squid and/or good cut bait for bottom fishing.

    Good trip, good captain!

For the group that likes a lot of different things this is a great experience with a little bit of everything for everybody. We were able to fish (successfully catching several grunts), Snorkel on the reef, Kayak, Paddleboard, and explore a sandbar while enjoying the beautiful Key West views. Captain Tim was great. He was on time accommodating eager to show us a good time and knew where to go to make it happen. I would definitely recommend this if you have a mixed group that are looking to do different things.

The last day of 2023 was highlighted for us by this very pleasant fishing trip originating from the Tin City area port.
We received a partial gift certificate for this trip bought in Costco. Making reservations on line the system prohibited us from applying it. We called but nobody responded likely due to the holiday season. We left message and called right after Christmas again. We were told that gift certificates indeed cannot be applied online but adjustment will take place during the registration.
That indeed eventually happened but with some difficulties. So beware, call or make arrangements in person if you have a gift certificate.
The fishing cruise was very pleasant. The staff was helpful and friendly. You are provided bate and gear. Everybody caught some fish so the choices of sites were apparently good.
You need to bring your own snacks and drinks.

My husband and I had a wonderful day fishing on Corsair ll! Captain Jeff and first mate Christian made sure that we had a fun and successful day of fishing! They are great and knowledgeable fishermen! We caught tuna and mahi-mahi that they fileted beautifully. The boat was comfortable and the inside had lots of space and AC. I highly recommend Corsair ll for all levels of fishing experience.

This was a top fishing trip all time for my son and I.
We go at least once a year every year.
And we caught a bunch of fish.
We didn’t go so far out because we got the shorter trip, but we still caught a red grouper. Took home 9 keepers.

Neil was a great tour guide, with lots of knowledge about the wildlife in the area. It was nice having our own private tour, so you could have a say in what you wanted to see and do. We were able to have extra time out at no charge too. The mangroves were amazing and Shell Key was a nice beach. It was quite a ways to Shell Key, but we all thought it was worth it and we went at a nice pace that it didn't seem like too much paddling . The double crested cormorants were following along with us almost the whole way. They would dive under and come up with fish that they ate right in front of us. We even saw a dolphin flip a mullet fish out of the water.
Neil provided dry bags and little bags for our phones. Bring lots of sunscreen and water.

If you've taken the time to look into reviewing L4K Charters, all I can say is,,, Do Not Hesitate to Book with Capt. Rob, I Booked the Memory Maker Trip, The Name alone says it all, mainly for my 5yr. old Grandson, Capt. Rob did an amazing job making my Grandson and all of us feel very comfortable aboard "Dress Blues" it was like Fishing with a longtime Family Friend., Grandson caught a 22" Red Fish he actually caught more Fish than any of Us Creating a Memorable experience for us that will last us all lifetime.
Again, Capt. Rob we cannot Thank You enough.

Was a little worried when I booked. I booked a 130pm fishing trip for 8 people on Friday for the next Thursday thru trip advisor. I immediately recieved a text message from the tour operator which said it was a 900am on Thursday departure. I asked about the time and they assured me it was for 130pm. The day before the tour I recieved another text again stating 9am departure. Now I'm worried again. I message the operators through the TripAdvisor app again and they assured me it was 130pm.
Well we arrived at a boat behind Victoria's Secret as described in their message and NO ONE was there. I walked down the docks and found the correct boat.

Once we got on the boat everything was fantastic. Our guides and captain were friendly, professional and accommodating.
MARIA WAS AMAZING. She worked hard to keep bait and poles ready for each stop. She even made sure the teens in our group got the opportunity to reel in fish . While most of the tourist on the trip didn't catch anything it was still a great time. I would definitely recommend this fishing tour, especially for first timers.
    10/10 would do again
