What travellers are saying
- Karen ESan Clemente, CA2 contributionsI've taken this 2 hour daytime tour twice in the past couple of years; both times with out of town guests. The first time was OUTSTANDING. Our knowledgeable guide had a great voice...clear, well enunciated, dramatic & nicely paced.
This past visit was "okay." Guides have their own personal styles...I get it. They focus on different things which makes this tour worthy of more than one visit. Our 2nd guide had a great sense of humor & included some fun personal stories. Yet, she spoke way too fast & several of us had difficulty hearing her at times. Sadly, she grew opinionated towards the end of the tour. She voiced her concerns on the current philanthropic state of affairs in the world, & was mis-informed on the generosity of our local individuals and organizations. An enjoyable experience unfortunately ended on a political note. Serious bummer.Written September 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Also a great spot to get a couple mile walk indoors if weather is bad. Clean environment and it is nice to see a mall thriving when so many aren't. Very welcoming to our service dogs as well.Written July 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Venture21317531644Toledo, OH3 contributionsWe just wanted to go to the Lego store. We parked at Nordstrom. We went in and headed up to the 3rd floor. There's a restroom by the food court, by potbelly.Written January 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adrianna LTraverse City, MI134 contributionsAlthough I'm a huge fan of Mackinac Island, the city of Mackinac has it's treasures too. I was actually pretty impressed with Mackinac Crossings. My boyfriend and I stumbled across some worthy shops for clothing, wine tasting, and homemade potato chips. It's easy to get around the outdoor mall too.
Del Sol was worth a stop too. It's kinda neat to see color changing although my boyfriend couldn't find a shirt in his size.Written June 14, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
I was amused to find the H&M store had the same layout and mens clothing as our local store in the U.K. A home from home….Written August 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BigMerkGlasgow, UK2,709 contributionsIt’s huge - and that’s just the car park. There are all the usual stores here. The central food court was a bit lacking but that’s probably due to the number of eateries at the end of each leg of the mall - most of which were busy on a Sunday when I visited.Written September 17, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gorton54Plymouth, MI1,630 contributionsWe like the ease of parking here and the fact that you don't have to walk miles past 100 stores as at the Mega Malls. Von Maur is a classy store where we did some Christmas shopping this year. And there are a variety of restaurants like Leo's, California Pizza Kitchen, Bar Louie etc. We frequent the Hallmark store and Lenscrafter opticians. You may not find every store you like here and when that happens one can just go up to Twelve Oaks.Written December 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - happygardener2016Romeo, MI80 contributionsThis is a nice antique mall. Very large, takes about 3 hours or more to get through. A large selection of items for everyone. The first few aisles are all locked cabinets, but someone is available to unlock so you can look at an item. Lots of collectibles, matchbox cars, glass ware. My friend and I didn't get through the whole mall. I don't know if someone sprayed perfume or bad air freshener in the back of the store, it was so strong I couldn't go back to the rear area of the store. But otherwise, it was a nice store.Written December 2, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Donna TMichigan30 contributionsWe visit Ann Arbor two or three times a year and love wandering the downtown streets and small shops, the campus and museums and also some of the nice small parks dotting the city. People are always friendly and it's nice to see the bustle in this diverse and eclectic college town.
We haven't been to Kerrytown in a long time so decided to visit with out of town friends. Glad we did!!! There is something for everyone - gourmet food/shops, paper goods/art supplies, artisian shops and clothing stores - though there are not as many shops in the building as I had thought/hoped. It takes just an hour or so to go through it all, unless you're one to stop in all shops and touch all things...then, maybe two hours. There was no farmer's market on the day we visited - and that was too bad as this area bustles when the market is open. If you plan to visit for the first time- do so on the weekend and get the full experience.
We are foodies, so we went to Zingerman's as well and spent nearly an hour shopping for those little unusual finds that do a happy dance on your tongue. This place is crowded and packed tightly with shelves, display cases, people handing out samples and customers. Crowded and hard to navigate easily, this was just as it should be in a deli/store such as this! Wonderful. A must do. Certainly if you are hungry this is also a great place for lunch/dinner - the sandwiches are legendary and large - easily split between two people. Prices are high, but for the experience, worthwhile. Do go - you won't regret it.Written November 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
