What travellers are saying
- Matthew MOmaha, NE3 contributionsAmazing! Great water, fantastic sea life, and wonderful coral. It was a little busy, but worth it! I am going back again tomorrow!Written January 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LeonaGrootGimli, Canada34 contributionsWe booked two full day tours with Maya & Viv Adventures while staying in San Pedro in early February. They were both excellent!
We did their snorkeling trip to Caye Caulker stopping to snorkel at Hol Chan reserve, then shark ray alley, and then at a sunken barge. The best snorkelling that I’ve ever experienced with such diversity in what we saw. Rafael gave us great advice on the use of the equipment and how to maneuver in the water, plus he was funny. He and Frances both took turns being in the water with us and directing us to the best places. They showed us how to feed the tarpons and we checked out some seahorses. Awesome! Lunch at Caye Caulker was great, then we shopped a bit on our own before we headed back.
We also did a mainland trip by plane with Maya & Viv to see Actun Ha ruins and then cave tubing. The whole trip was flawless with people from Maya & Viv at each part of our journey. The places we visited with Rudy were awesome and Rudy was exceptional as a tour guide.
Finally, one of their young ladies heard us discussing our dilemma related to our move from one house to another the next day, so she kindly said that they could easily provide the third golf cart that we needed to move our luggage. They definitely saved our day and delivered our luggage safely for us! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience with your tour company!!Written February 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Shop was over crowded with pieces. A staple if visiting San Pedro Town.Written November 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Costa KBrooklyn, NY10 contributionsThis restaurant has the best selection of food, and the food is amazingly tasty. The bartenders and servers are kind and accommodating, and will help you get anything you need. The water park is 11.50 bzd per person per hour, and you’ll only need an hour because its super fun and very exhausting :) we came with our daughters and spent hours and hours here from 10:30am-4:30pm.

- Cindy MurphyDakota Dunes, SD202 contributionsSometimes mass is at the main church in downtown area by the park on the beach where the big letters spell out SAN PEDRO, and sometimes mass is held at the chapel just south of the airport. We went during Christmas break so we attended midnight mass at the main church (english) and regular Sunday services at the chapel on Sunday evening (spanish). Great homilies and wonderful music.Written January 6, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Cindy MurphyDakota Dunes, SD202 contributionsShort drive south of downtown. Open air restaurant/beach club with games and rentals. Hammocks for relaxing, bags game, beach volleyball. Service was great and food was great. Bathrooms clean and properly well- maintained. Big parking lot. Much better than the place next doorWritten January 6, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CheeryCherylNashville, TN80 contributionsWe walked by the place at night and it was locked up like Fort Knox with metal hurricane shutters, so I guess I was expecting something more. Some tropical wear, limited selection of mens, women's (geared to the 20's crowd), children's clothing and small kitchen appliances. Some Aeropostale t-shirts from several seasons ago. Did not shop upstairs. Worth a stop if you forgot something at home, but I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here.Written March 24, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
