Our guide, Luis Ángel, was an absolute expert! Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and culture, but he also had a great sense of humor that made the day even more enjoyable. He made us feel comfortable.

The tour itself was well-paced, covering key landmarks Luis shared fascinating stories and fun facts about each location. I especially appreciated the history about my zona I grew up in, which none of my family members knew.

Tour guide Ruben was knowledgeable and provided detailed history during the tour. He gave us enough time to explore the park. He also helped with taking pictures for us.

I had a great time at Volcan Pacaya. The guide Mynor Peralta was very knowledgeable and our hike up to the top was nice and fun. He even practiced speaking Spanish with me. There were horses available to rent, but I didn’t feel the need for it and just walked up. The view at the top is amazing. Oh, and he volunteered to take some Instagram worthy pictures, total win.

I went on a solo adventure to Pacaya in November 2024. Roundtrip transportation from my Airbnb in Guatemala City was included. We left promptly in the AM and enjoined a smooth ride to Pacaya where I met Walter, the perfect guide.
Because I read other reviews, I figured adding on a horse to get to the top was the best route. I’m glad I did. You can still enjoy the views without testing your endurance at a high altitude.
Throughout, Walter was kind and joyful, often recommending the best spots of photographs, sharing history, and making conversation. He made sure I was comfortable and safe every step of the way, which is extra important to me as a solo traveler.
The pizza at be top was delicious and there is a cute jewelry store where you can buy items and trinkets made with lava.
Truly a 10/10 experience, and one of my favorite travel adventures to date.
Special shootout to Walter, Guapo (the horse), and Marisol for making my day extra fun!

A short but rich tour of Guatemala City with a knowledgeable guide, who could explain both historical and cultural aspects of the City.

Truly enjoyed our tour and our guide Esteban was truly knowledgeable and amazing. We visited all the amazing sites in Antigua, and he thoroughly explained its history. It was raining that day, and he kindly had an umbrella for us. He contacted us the day before the tour via WhatsApp introducing himself. Due to a festival that was occurring the day of the tour, he kindly asked if we wanted to leave a bit earlier, which of course we did. That was the best decision as the roads were jammed packed with traffic. He kindly adjusted our schedule in Guatemala City at our request. Highly recommend this tour.

We were the only 2 on the tour cause it was low season. Marvin arrived early at our hotel and waited. He was courteous and attentive and struggled to get us into landmarks that are difficult to access.

Walter, the guide, was very friendly and attentive. The route to the volcano was challenging, but horses are available for those who need them. The driver, Carlos, was also kind and helpful.

Enjoyed our tour with Mirko who spoke very good English. He gave us many facts about the history, culture and politics of Guatemala. The tour duration was good, with half day spent in Antigua and the other half part at the Iximche archeological ruins.

We traversed Guatemala City with Adriana and Sergio and found their well-planned route and professional approach gave us an extraordinary glimpse of the history and marvels of Guatemala City. The smooth, flat journey through the city, mostly on paved bike paths with curb cuts, enabled two seniors to enjoy thoroughly the four hours of cycling, punctuated by many brief stops for photos and explanations. Thursday morning provided a sea of cars streaming through the streets, and our tour guides, one in front and the other behind, shepherded us deftly across busy streets. Having well-maintained, high-quality bikes with balloon tires to soften the trip contributed to our enjoyment, as did having radios that provided background and context for the sites we visited. We enthusiastically, unhesitatingly recommend this experience to learn about and appreciate Guatemala City.

We had a wonderful day with Esteban. He was sure to communicate with us the day before to make sure that pickup was confirmed. He arrived in time and his car was clean and comfortable. Esteban is extremely well-versed in Guatemalan history and culture and not only was able to tell us about each place we visited but also was sure to point out all the interesting landmarks as we drove around the city. Since we were here during Semana Santa, he was able to coordinate watching one of the city’s many religious processions which would have been pretty overwhelming if we had tried to navigate it alone. Beyond his knowledge and professionalism, Esteban is just a really nice guy. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Guatemalan history and culture and doesn’t have a lot of time in Guatemala City.

We had reached out to Fabio to schedule a boat tour on the lake and he scheduled everything for us. We were picked up by Nikolas and his crew from our hotel dock and spent the whole day going to three different Pueblo’s and learning about their history and different products that come from them. We got to try honey wine and artisanal chocolate and see how the women of the area make beautiful textiles. We had a blast and the weather was beautiful the whole time.

Be prepared with dinner good walking shoes, external battery and a full day of adventure. Carolina was my tour guide who was very professional, patient and knew of the hidden gems you might not get on just a standard tour. Aaron was the driver for the he was also professional and highlighted safety strong the commute. I'm so glad to have the opportunity to visit a hobbit park with so many areas to have a photo shoot. There's lots of hills so so owce yourself but the views are breathtaking overlooking the countryside and back drop of the volcanos. There are many vendors where you can purchase directly one of a kind handmade souvenirs. Later Carolina took me down to another adventure style park where we had pizza. This had to be one of bestexperiences for solo travelers, group travelers and families. Check out the pictures and sign up it is worth the cost which for the price you get more value for that's priceless. Cheers
