Cool little clean beach on utila, not to busy, and on the way up to it you pass some cool restaurants about 12 min walk from utila dream ferry

Jason, our guide was fantastic. The ride itself is beautiful mostly on trail like “roads.” As you wind your way up Pumpkin Hill you reach a point to leave the horses and hike to the lookout point. It is an old approximately 30 inch diameter pipe that has 33 bent rebar steel steps. We climbed it all the way and the view is of the entire island. On a clear day you can see the mountain of the mainland of Honduras. On the way back down we stopped a small humble bare for a couple of cold beers and then returned to the stables along a trail down to the beach and back through the forest. The horses we perfectly trained and if you know how to ride you can gallop along the smoother sections. Someone downgraded the experience because the guide did not speak English. My view as a frequent world traveler is “Give me a break! You are not in your country.” 5 star all the way!

I did the GoPro (divemaster) and GoEco courses at UDC, and I cannot recommend them both enough! The divemaster program was very well organized and professional and my mentor Anton was awesome! Love ya, buddy. All of the other instructors I worked with were great as well. I honestly feel that the staff at UDC try their best to prepare you for working in the industry and do a damn good job at it. Thank you all so much!

The GoEco program was also excellent. It’s rare to find someone as perfectly suited to their work as Laura is to running this program. She is knowledgeable, passionate, and just fun to be around. She made every class a joy and taught us all so much. She also organized lots of opportunities for us to volunteer with local conservation agencies. She is an absolute inspiration and I am so glad that I got the chance to take this course with her. Thank you so much, Laura!

I just spent a week diving and staying at Paradise Divers. It was a fantastic experience while diving, but I also just a really good time with all the people that I met there. This is the place that you want to go for great diving and good times after diving! If you are going to Utila, dive and stay at Paradise Divers! You will be glad that you did!!!

It was a great experience, I had the opportunity to build relationships that improved so much my diving experiences, this place has a restaurant, dorms and its a dive center so its very convenient. I also recommend having your dives with intructor Jeneva Bush, she will make your dive safe and fun :)

We had an absolutely amazing time. Staff are knowledgeable and professional and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing dive adventure. The dock is a hub of learning and hammock relaxation with unbelievable views. Well maintained boats and full 60 min dives. 10/ 10 recommend.

Amazing! I spent a week at Freedive Utila to do some fun training dives after finishing my Molchanovs Wave 1 (beginner) course earlier this year. My instructor had recommended spending some time getting comfortable at depths of 15-20m before taking my next course. Why rush? Training with Chris and Bryan was PERFECT. Our sessions were mellow and relaxed- just what I needed. My goal for the week was not a certain depth (though I don’t doubt they couldn’t gotten me to 25-30m) but rather to feel more at ease and learn to listen to my body more. I got just that and more. They reminded me to have fun, have a grateful heart and that Freediving is just as much about connecting with your body as it is hitting a number. So grateful for our time together and will definitely be back! I would recommend Freedive Utila to anyone looking to fall in love with apnea all over again.

First impression is Top Knoth Dive School. The Office Manager met me at the ferry dock even before I found my bag and called me by name. She already had a tuk tuk arranged to take me to the school. Paper work went smoothly and effeciently. Very professional. I'm a professional diver so I asked to store my dive equipment in ther equipment room and was impressed. Everything was very clean and orderly. Student regulators were Scubapro MK2 (kinda industry standard) and everything was well organized.
I had a little hiccup with my credit card and they were very accommodating. All in all, I'm impressed so far.

Professional, friendly, small group size diving! We are a retired couple - got a refresher course and continued diving with this fantastic group. Got to see great dive sites and had such caring support and attention throughout - we were blown away. Beyond best prices too.

Wow what a treat, even though I'm a long time customer, every dive with these guys is like my first! They spoil their divers. I've brought along many friends and family to dive/snorkel with these fabulous humans and everyone leaves feeling like they are a new part of the Utila Cays Diving family. Bogdan, Mike, Captains Edgar and Alton. Their smiles when I hop on the boat are contagious and even the time on the boat in between dives is as enjoyable as the time underwater. Great stories (Watch out for the eels, ha ha) Great Music, Great Service. Even if you don't see a Whale Shark which of course everyone hopes for, or the visibility is bad, or the weather doesn't let you get to the North Shore, enjoy the company of these folks. There will always be another dive, but you'll never forget the great service and great time. Sometimes the destination isn't as good as the journey, right fellow travelers? This crew will always make a great journey, and if the universe is aligned, the destination will bring you a whale shark, or dolphins, or a nurse shark or 2.....!!

Utila Water Sports takes only 8 divers at a time on their spacious boat. Well, we were the only divers during our two week stay! We have never been so comfortable on a dive boat. :) Divemaster Jose and Captain Chuck were fabulous: professional, competent, flexible and so so nice. Warm cinnamon buns for surface interval! Yes! Had some lovely dives. Duppy Waters, Black Coral Wall, Airport Caves stand out, but others were nice too. Jose spotted so many tiny slender filefish and an almost invisible neck crab. Also two seahorses. Several eagle rays and other stingrays. UWS was dead cheap compared to other islands where we have dived, especially for their amazing service. Owners Troy and Edith were charming hosts. Cannot recommend them too highly.

The dive masters and instructors are wonderful! So joyful, knowledgeable, and ready to spread the love of scuba diving. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn or just explore the island! Thank you Jorge, Sarah, and Henry for the adventures!

    Where do I even start!

Let me just say that I’ve never done any fishing before this trip and Sabina was super nice answering all my questions before booking the trip.

Once on the boat captain Joe was just the best, telling me stories about UTILA and giving tips on fishing and how it used to be done in the old days.
They provided more than enough snaks, soft drinks, water and fruit for the trip.

I just remember telling Sabina this phrase “I just want to catch a big fish”, and guess what she and captain Joe delivered way more than I ever expected since the first time I contacted them until the moment I caught a 48 lb Wahoo thanks to Captain Joe.

I couldn’t stop smiling all the way back to the dock, this was truly the experience of a lifetime. They even coocked the fish for me and some of my friends in a little party with the locals that night.

Thanks Sabina and Joe!! You made me fall in love with fishing.
