What travellers are saying
- DotsGirl2Vancouver, Canada600 contributionsMost mosques in Morocco restrict entrance to muslims. This mosque has tour times when prayers are not occurring. It is a huge building and intricately decorated. We enjoyed the tour and the explanation of the buildings design.Written February 11, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Janka KBrno, Czech Republic9,328 contributionsA maze of small and dirty streets with a lot of locals roaming around. There is a lot of markets or selling spots all around the quarter. If you want to see e.g. how chickens are killed, then you are at the right place.
Google Maps don't work much and it's really easy to get lost.
The tourist market in medina offers a lot of expensive things and it's surprisingly clean, compared to the non touristic parts.Written January 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BedouinDreamsSouth Bend, IN71 contributionsTransiting in Casablanca, I discovered the airlines had lost my luggage. I had a super-long layover so quickly sped to the Morocco Mall to buy a few shirts, sandals, and slacks since my final destination for the trip was a severely underdeveloped country with few options for the clothing I needed. Morocco Mall did the trick! Although it by no means compares to Dubai Mall or any of the megamalls of the Arabian Gulf, it is more than sufficient for Casablanca. The food court is a bit dark and gloomy, and the kiosks there perhaps not totally up to scratch. But it's better to eat elsewhere in Casablanca, anyway.Written January 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While helping me off the horse, he made unwanted physical contact 🫴🙆♀️👙 and whispered unsettling comments like "I love you." This experience left me feeling uncomfortable and shocked.
He initially charged 200 dirhams but agreed to 100 dirhams after negotiation. However, the ride lasted barely 3 minutes before he told me to get off.
As a first-time visitor to this city, this encounter ruined my impression of the beach. I strongly advise tourists to avoid him.Written December 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
