Located inside the busy Dhaka city, this small fort is well maintained by the Government. The fort has a tomb inside which is locked for entry, it has a man made fountain replicating the Mughal architecture of fountain with Garden as we see in most of the Mughal gardens in our India including Tajmahal. Garden is well maintained. This fort houses a mosque, a dried lake, residential buildings for officials of the rulers, water storage facility. Also it houses a bath house used by the royals with paintings of the usage of the bath house. The entry fees is 20 for Bangladesh citizens, 100 taka for Saarc countries' visitors

Shahid or Shaheed Minar is a national monument in Dhaka, Bangladesh, established to commemorate those killed during the Bengali Language Movement demonstrations of 1952 in then East Pakistan. It represents father, mother and children. Very close to Medical university. Few minutes is enough to explore this spot.

We had a short stop during our Dhaka city tour to this cozy spot. External view for Parliament House, or People’s House where people can’t visit as per what my guide say. New building and garden, big Bangladesh’s flag and few minutes for photo only.

It is actually very popular place for visitors (even from Bangladesh) and therefore, very crowded place, but beautiful color and interior design.

Luckily, our visit to Sanorgaon was in February which is a month of celebration for locals. Girls decorating her hair with flowers. Such a wonderful old construction with a sense of artistic beauty. Amazing lake, garden, and a statue of a leader knows as Father of Nation. Folk museum is so nice, 3 stories and many things to see in a short time. Our visit was outstanding. Thanks go to: TravelMate who organized our trip.

I loved this place as it was bright and colourful, full of locals buying their wares and charming shop assistants just wanting to say hello. Plenty to see and marvel at and there are ATMs if you fancy anything plus restaurants and a range of food stalls.
Outside the rush hour traffic is a sight to behold and you can't but watch in wonder.
