- Helen MIsrael9 contributionsWe had a great girls afternoon out - a glass blowing workshop with Yael and Hila. Yael gave an introduction and guidelines how to create our creation and helped us every step of the way. Yael and Hila are patient and lovely - they clearly love their craft and love to expose others to the fun and creativity of glass blowing.Written November 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had about 25 people in our garden and Leora circulated through the crowd making sure everyone was busy and focused. she had tons of good ideas and patience for those of us who are not so visually coordinated and creative. she stayed as long as it took for everyone to complete a project- a barrel shaped mug, travel mug or cookie jar. her prices were very reasonable for an activity for a simcha and were less expensive per item than if we painted them in her studio. everyone had a wonderful time. it was a perfect activity for an outdoor bat mitzvah because people felt like they were doing something "productive" but they still had head space to schmooze and reconnect after not seeing each other for almost 8 months. I feel like we stumbled upon the perfect bat mitzvah itinerary. I highly recommend Leora and I recommend JClay!Written October 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bfm b1 contributionIrrespobsible teacher. My stuff is still there but I don't care. My hair got caught in her hazardous hair-dryer used for drying the clay. I screamed and she didn't even come to help. Buttons were untitled, I pressed some and it only got worse. It could have rip off some of my scalp and cut my forehead if my mom didn't manage to finally find the right wire to pull to unplug it. Teacher didn't even consider apologizing and only asked how I was when I was interacting with her later to do something. We had kids with us, it could have been one of them. The workshop was nice, good colors (though very dilluted), nice products, minimal instruction. As long as these hazards are not cared for I wouldn't go there.Written December 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Beverlianne G8 contributionsThis such a wonderful organization. The coordinators are so kind, and put a lot of work into making each event successful. Every event is inexpensive and accessible, which allows for anyone to have a genuine learning experience and adventure in Israel.
My favorite events so far have been a hike in Wadi Jahir and an Iftar Shabbat.Written April 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He was incredibly informative throughout the trip and his passion for people and Israel make him such a great guide (and an incredibly popular person on our trip). He made sure to take the time to meet and be friends with everyone on the tour and it surely wouldn’t have been the same without him. Highly recommend!Written June 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
