Our guide, Laura, looking at the sky decided, luckily to change the program and we visit Montserrate, so we were able to go on top without rain.
The visit at the gold museum was interesting, especially the moment of the recreation of the ceremony, really touching.
We couldn't linger too much about the squares because of the rain, but I was able to have a picture with a Llama (I know is not Colombian, but I was really happy).
The Botero Museum and Museo de la Moneta are interesting also for people that doesn't have art as a first interest.
Laura gave us some very interesting fact about the city and the history of Colombia.
And the tour ended with a little food at the market, worth a visit.

I went on a tour of Monserate with Lorena as my guide. She was very professional and also very knowledgeable. She speaks good English and she made the tour very fun. I enjoyed learning at the various sites and she was even willing to work on some Spanish with me. The tour has a lot of sites and is well worth the money. Thank you Lorena for being a great guide for the day.

An enjoyable and convenient way to see some of the Colombian countryside, see an historic town, the Salt Cathedral, eat delicious food, and meet new friends. After arriving in the town, we were giving time to walk around then regrouped and went to the Salt Cathedral. If all you want to see is the Salt Cathedral, I'd do it on my own and get there early. We had to wait in a long line, although it kept moving. Afterwards, went to a wonderful restaurant that specialized in all things meat, plus some thrilling live music.

When I visit a place I always wanted to learn about that place history and about that city. Mr. Diego rightfully met this requirement. He is very knowledgeable about the local history and explained to us in plain and simple English. The high lights of the tour are
    1) Learning about Bogota. How it started and where it started and walking around important places of this old city where all the old houses are well preserved.

    2) Fruit tasting: He took us to a place where we get an opportunity to taste local fruits which rare to South America. This was covered as part of tour.

    3) coffee Tasting: We stopped at one of the coffee shop where we have tasted different varieties of Coffee and the shop guys showed us the proper way of preparing coffee. This is also covered as part of tour.

    4) visiting different museums

    5) The tour ended up in a restaurant where Diego thought us a local game which was played by local native Colombians. This was really fun ending where Diego sponsored us free Beer and let us play this game for a while.

I highly recommend this tour as it was fun to learn about local culture, meet different people and was playful.

This was an amazing tour where we got to see lots of the candelería área in Bogotá and learned lots about the culture of the city. Liz was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The tour was also very interactive with fruit tastings and a coffee tasting workshop. I highly recommend this tour!

Went on the Bogotá City Tour (including Monserrate and Museo del Oro) with Elizabeth. She did an excellent job of explaining the history behind the different places we visited and including a sampler of traditional Colombian food as well. She also customized the tour a bit to fit my interests (such as including more of the churches) and restrictions (vegetarian). Overall, a great experience.

I had the best tour experience hands down. I travel a lot for work and was on a work trip in Bogotá and my hotel recommended me Manuel for a City Tour, the best decision I’ve made. He was very punctual, polite and knowledgeable. Manuel took me to all the tourist destinations around but also and more importantly took me to the local places as well. There is so much to do in Bogotá, what a beautiful city, we visited museums, sightseeing places, beautiful cathedrals and several restaurants and bars as well. All the recommendations he made were fantastic and I enjoyed all of them. Manuel is a pure gentleman, fluent in English and made me feel valued and above all, safe. Thanks Manuel, can’t wait to come back!

Great tour, I learned a lot about coffee. The traffic was pretty bad to get there - but the farm was super cute. Liliana the host was incredible - super smiley and knowledgeable.
