You will see lots of animals. They will seem almost tame, accustomed to human interaction, which takes some of the thrill out of the experience. Our guide was eager to please, not well versed scientifically, but aggressive in trying to get us the best possible experience, and a good driver.

This tour was absolutely fantastic! We saw way more animals than we anticipated! Even our guide was surprised! Lawrence, the guide was excellent! Informative, helpful, funny, knowledgeable and perceptive. The rest of the people in our group felt the same way!

So much fun! Our driver (shoutout Harrison) picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi and he and our guide (Jaffar!) made sure all the tickets were booked and bikes were available and even told us about some of the areas we were driving through as we made our way to Hell’s Gate. Jaffar was awesome, full of information and also some jokes. Hell’s Gate is beautiful and the boat tour in Lake Naivasha was great too. The bike ride was a little tough for people like us, who haven’t biked in years, but definitely do-able!
Also— I accidentally booked for June instead of July, and everyone was so understanding and helpful and we were able to complete our tour in July.

The tour was great with Victor. He got us up close to many kinds of wildlife for some great photos. The included lunch and hike up observation hill were also great! The trip from Nairobi was long but it was worth it.

Found this group tour (although it says private) quite at last minute and loved it! Our young , smiling, guide Peter was fab. He had lots of funny anecdotes.
We started and ended on time.
Only regret was that We didn’t see Kili due to the clouds 😔
But ..Overall a fun day out despite the annoying beeping sound from the jeep.

Great value for your bucks. We have spotted cats and wildlife of all sorts. The driver, Musa, was polite and professional and took care of explaining details about wildlife and the local culture. He showed a good driving mastery despite bumpy roads and rainy weather. Well done!

Our guide was right on time & made adjustments to our schedule to avoid possible challenges due to the recent protests in Nairobi. The top of the convention center was a great vantage point for viewing the city but be aware there are three flights of stairs that must be climbed to reach the top. The National Museum was very interesting and our volunteer guide did a nice job with the tour. Be sure to bring cash to tip the guide. The bead factory was better than I expected and I picked up several items for gifts. The show at the Bomas of Kenya was entertaining and exposed me to the dance & music of several different tribes/areas of Kenya. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nairobi for the first time.

This was a great experience that I would highly recommend. I loved the markets, and the class itself was fun, relaxing and informative. It’s a great way to experience local culture, while supporting a small business venture. Oh, and the food was DELICIOUS! In case anyone is concerned, the meeting place was easy to find, the Uber driver knew exactly where to go, and getting back to the hotel was easy too.

This tour was really great, and well worth getting up early for. Our guide Steven got us there promptly to avoid all the crowds and queues. He even told us where to stand to get the best pictures. Highly recomended.

I made a direct booking with this travel company. I reached through WhatsApp and everything was extremely clear and transparent from the start to the beginning. All my questions were clearly responded to, and I was extremely satisfied with the service. Tour Guide, Albert took meticulous care of us throughout the journey and was a passionate wildlife enthusiast and a safe driver as well. We upgraded to a lodge since my parents were traveling, and it was more than comfortable and convenient. It was really worth every penny.

Extraordinary tour. One of the best I've done so far.

A safari really is a unique experience and one that many travellers will unlikely encounter, but making the effort to do so will reward you with one of the best experiences in a lifetime.

This tour began with a pick up at 4.30am in the morning, from which we took a 2 1/2 journey to the park. The drive itself is an amazing experience as you pass shanty towns and the rural landscape, and the opportunity to see the sunrise over the Kenyan landscape. A stop over also at a local tourist centre allowed us to have coffee and some breakfast, before we continued on our way.

Upon arriving at the park I was totally unprepared for the experience that i was about to have. The rangers on site helped to lift up the rooftop so that I could observe through the roof. And there I stood as we proceeded through the gates and into the park.

Driving through opens up onto the wide savannah grasslands, stretching endlessly to the horizon. This alone was a sight to behold.

And almost immediately on our tour we encountered a herd of elephants. They came up to us so close i could almost hear them breathe! They deliberated long hard about whether to cross the path we were travelling on before eventually turning away.

Our journey through the park took us through winding dusty roads and each passing moment the landscape was teeming with animals luxuriating in their natural abode. Elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippopotamuses, waterbucks, gazelles, zebras, baboons and more, and plenty of bird life and other unexpected surprising creatures. I was so fortunate as to have even witnessed a mongoose digging through a termite mound, an ostrich blockading our way, a wild boar, Komodo lizard, and even the most sort after Lion.

Yes, on this journey I was so fortunate, with the expertise of my guide Francis to stumble upon 2 lions. As the midday approached they had already had their feed, the remnants of their prey, visible not far away, and were now lounging under the shade of bush near to the dusty road we travelled on. We stationed ourselves there for several minutes watching their movements. Truly a sight to behold.

The majority of the tour is spent driving through the winding roads of the open grasslands searching for and hurrying to locations to where animals would be found. This was especially made possible by firstly, the knowledge, awareness and expertise of my guide. It was extraordinary to watch him in action looking for signs of animals and hurrying to them or maneuvering to get close. Also the communication between guides is fascinating to watch, the 2 way radios that they all used were scrambled with messages relaying to each other where animals were, and the drivers would all then scurry to the locations. It genuinely felt like a hunt.

Our journey through the park was capped by a herd of elephants including their infants lumbering towards a waterhole, where we waited behind bushes for their approach. Once they arrived the adults drank thirstily from the hole, whilst the infants played gleefully. The male observed our presence then signalled a warning to us to not approach too closely after which we ventured away...

But that was not the end of my adventures. After exiting the park, Francis had another surprise for me. A visit to a Maasai tribe. Words really cannot convey the amazement I felt and the sight that beheld me upon arriving. All the tribal people joyfully welcomed us, surrounding and calling out Jambo!, or Welcome!, They took me inside their village where I toured their huts made by the women, of animal dung and clay, very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. They then proceeded to show me how to start a fire using just sticks and dung. I attempted to do so myself, a moment when I realised I was not Maasai and did not possess their skills. The women then treated me to their traditional dance, dressed in their colourful attire it was an overwhelming experience to behold. Unforgettable.
When time came to leave the tribe, I felt a tinge of sadness as I realised that their traditional way of life was ever threatened by the encroachment of modern society.

Finally my big thanks to Francis, my tour guide for making this experience unforgettable. Most safaris may require more than just the one day to sufficiently explore the grasslands and witness all the animals, but with his expertise and keen sense of awareness he made it all possible for me on this special occasion. Thanks Francis.

Overall a tour not to be missed. A once in a lifetime experience!
