Happy World is great. 10/10! My favourite part was the Valentine's Day scene. Would definitely come again. Best ride ever!!!

This was our last stop on our Beijing trip. This had a nostalgic side to it, as the 2008 Beijing is the first Olympics I remember watching. The park is big, yet the sights are close together. You can view the Olympic stadium and the cube. It’s generally a nice walk through memory lane. There was an event starting when we got there too - an art & culture festival, which seemed like a lot of fun

We went to the Water Cube during the day and didn’t get to see it lit up at night because of heavy rain. On the plus side of our day trip we got to go inside and was pleasantly surprised to find various items for sale, some cute, and some more for children. There was a shop selling official Olympic souvenirs where we bought many gifts to bring back home. There is one small stand that food but the hot items were sold out. Later walking towards the exit to get to the Bird’s Nest stadium we found a few more options for a quick bite. There was a small water park for young kids to enjoy too.

universal studios Beijing, as the first universal studios to open in china, it's REALLY stunning. without using the classic universal entrance, they build the entrance under the grand hotel (really creative). the overall appearance and design of the park looks really good. the main disadvantage is the queue time of every ride, it takes almost 3 hours for the average rides, but for rides like the deception coaster, Jurassic world adventure, and the harry potter dark ride might take more than 3 hours or even close to 4 hours, you can't expect to get to ride on all rides if you don't have a fast pass, especially for the ones who expect to ride popular ones, this is the main similarity between shanghai Disneyland and universal studios Beijing

Worth the visit if you are into plants and flowers. We went on a weekday and it was relatively few people although there were several school groups that were relatively well behaved but their supervisors need some training. One group had the leader with a loudspeaker breaking the peaceful setting. Another group had the supervisor have the male kindergarten kids pee into a plastic bottle instead of taking them to the toilet which was right next to them, obviously to save the supervisor some work- really disgusting!

The park itself is huge and you can easier spend several hours. There are 5 greenhouses with different displays and laid out very well. No English so you need to know your species. Very clean and lots of tables to have lunch but few outlets and the few that are there are over priced and food is bad so bring your own.

Entrance fee is 60rmb and 45 on line but you need to have a local make the purchase with a local id and phone number. Free parking.

A very charming, unique park, offering a blend of arts and sculptures. There are over 200 sculptures spread around the park grounds. It is also home to a Yulan Magnolia Garden, with nine species of magnolia trees.

I have 4 kids ranging from 16 to 7, girls and boys and we all love this place. From Nov. to March it is only 60ÂĄ a visit for adults and 45ÂĄ students and over 60. But the bridge connecting the north and south side was closed and we were not allowed to enter the South Park. But it was ok this time as we had a time limit. We have lived in other regions of China and love the diversity of the minority groups. This park gives you the opportunity to see other areas of China's architecture. It is so amazing to see the Olympic Birds Nest and the Torch building looking down on you while you stand in a model country village. The two times we have come we felt like the only people here!! It is huge and I still have only seen about half of it. The displays are great if you like to wander on your own reading the explanations. I do. There are also shows and activities sprinkled throughout the day. My kids all loved the water splashing festival in the Dai village. I want to plan to come more often as you really can feel like you are in rural Yunnan or Tibet even though in the middle of bustling Beijing!! Be ready to walk a lot as this park is huge and hilly. Kids can run wild and have had a killer game of hide and seek! I believe the prices in peak season are 90ÂĄ for adult and maybe 60ÂĄ for students.
