What a wonderful and amazing experience! Our guide John speaks perfect English and he is warm, friendly and extremely helpful. His storytelling of the history is not only informative but vividly . The Mubus buffet lunch has a great variety of dishes such as mushroom, fried chicken wrings , shrimps ,fish, vegetables, dumplings, noodles and so on, really yummy.! I love the fish and shrimps the most! Overall this trip is 5 stars plus! Strongly recommend it !

Some lakes in Beijing are supposed to transfer or trade routes for the Imperial palace. Supplies for the palace. A lot of lakes in Beijing are man made . You can miss this sight, not important and spare yourself some stress of being pestered by vendors.

Our driver came on time to pick us up from our hotel in down town Beijing with a new clean car. The communication took place over translator app. The tickets for the Great Wall and the cable car were prearranged and he accompanied us till the entrance. He waited for us at the exit and drove us back to the city to a place chosen by us. All in all a good organized tour. We got what we payed for!!! Thank you China Tour!!!"

The Grand Canal Park is a National Park located where the Grand Canal enters Beijing. It was built in 2009 and opened in 2010. Since it is on the outskirts of the city, it is not often frequented by tourists but is 100% worth visiting. The Grand Canal is one of the oldest man-made structures in the world and was connected to Beijing during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. The park consists of cycling and walking paths on both sides of the river and is kept in pristine condition. Owing to the fact that the Grand Canal is now used to bring drinking water to Beijing, the water quality in the river is superb, and there is a plethora of fish and water birds living alongside the waterway. You can access the Grand Canal Park from Bei Yun He Xi (北运河西) subway station, Bei Yun He Dong (北运河东) subway station, or Hao Jia Fu (郝家府) subway station.
