Bluff Cove Lagoon East Falkland
The 4x4 vehicle gave us a jaunt reminiscent of an amusement park ride but with the spectacular scenery of remote, wind-swept, sheep farming country and dramatic stone runs.
The rookery was wonderful, there were nature guides there to ensure the penguins safety and to answer any and all questions.
Volunteer Point East Falkland
It was a superb adventure, one that anyone who cares about nature ought to try to do if, or when, they can.
We went to Volunteer Point, a national park, with David's Tour Service from Port Stanley.

Gypsy Cove Stanley
The Cove is part of a Nature Reserve that has a sheltered bay (Gypsy Cove), a pretty white beach, dunes, and dry heathland characterized by tussac grass and other grasses.
Either walk from the car park and back - or get dropped off at the car park and then walk around the whole peninsula taking in Ordnance Point and The Narrows on the way back to Stanley.
Saunders Island West Falkland
Variegated hawk fighting of caracaras, seal lions taking penguins ( not nice but fascinating nature in the raw).
Surf Bay Stanley
Behind the car park of the beach is a War Memorial to HMS Glamorgan and you can look back over at Stanley.
Bertha's Beach Mount Pleasant
Great walking and nature opportunities.
