We booked through travel agent and got electronic ticket. With that online ticket, q outside 1 hour wait to go to the counter to pick physical individual ticket . Then again line to get to the elevator. May be sunset view would have been good. Personally I would guess, it is not worth the wait for sunset view esp during peak vacation time. If you really like night view of the city from the top- go for it or else I will go other time which is cheaper and also different view

Some fantastic views of the city. I arrived at 13.00 . I had to wait about 1 hour outside to get in to the frame. Tells you a little bit of history about Dubai then and now. One your at top via glass elevator . Amazing views of both old and New Dubai. Central glass floor. I couldn't walk on .

We got there early to miss the crowds, and it was well worth doing this, as we walked up to the counter, paid, and then we walked off to the lifts, when you come out you get the usual photo taken, but then we were left to walk around and look down on Dubai, some great photos were taken.

You can also go out onto the observation deck and take photos from there too, it does get quite crowded out there, I preferred it inside.

As the entrance to the attraction is through the Dubai Mall, after the visit you can go to the food court or do a bit of shopping around the Mall, take comfortable shoes, you need them.

It was a lovely experience and you really get a feel for the history of the Palm.

I’d recommend getting the fast track/VIP ticket as there is some queuing (about 30 minutes to go up to the viewing platform) and the upgrade means you can go up to the upper deck which has no obstructions for viewing.

Also, I inadvertently left my sunglasses in my bag, which you have to leave in the cloakroom - and it’s super bright up there. So take a hat and/or sunglasses.

Overall though it’s easy to get to through the mall and a really pleasant experience.

The slide is underwhelming and overhyped and not really worth the price.
The views from 219.5m up are incredible and the glass floor is a really incredible experience, if you are brave enough you can do the Edge Walk.

A small island, connected to the mainland by a bridge with beautiful architecture. There are many restaurants with international cuisine, some also serve alcohol. The pedestrian area is very nicely arranged. On the waterfront promenade there are many stands selling ice cream, various sweets, snacks and soft drinks.
Also here you can find Ain Dubai, a large Ferris wheel. Unfortunately, it is currently not functional.

100% recommendation, even on a misty day with limited views of dubai skyline you can get some great shots of the palm area. I'd definitely do it again!

Amazing views from the apartment. Apartment nicely decorated and in the heart and heart of Marina. Close to everything and that's the most important thing

This wheel takes your breath away just walking up to it to buy your tickets for your trip. And when to get you close your knees to warble a-little it’s just so massive’ once staff help you on boarding with the wheel still turning slowly’ the rest is magical and the views spanning all of the sky line of this kingdom called Dubai. Your trip will take around 40 minutes. And you can just stand in pods or book the drinks service pods with butler service. And if you book an evening trip the Dubai sunset is very nice and then a lot of the surrounding buildings lights and art works makes it look lovely.

The Palladium is an office building in Dubai Media City, located near the BBC and Zee offices. It's not really much of an attraction, unless one is working here.
