Beautiful horses, sunrise at the beach, very friendly and reliable people working with the horses. We went to visit the stable after our Gorgeous beach ride and were amazed to see How good the animals are kept and taken care of. This will be an unforgettable experience for Any horselover. - PolineDubai, United Arab Emirates9 contributionsAs a lifelong equestrian and horse owner based in Dubai, I always turn to Al Jiyad Stables when I want to enjoy a desert ride with friends or visitors who may not have their own horses or much riding experience. I can recommend this stable for its care of the horses and its commitment to rider safety. The horses are (compared to other stables) well-maintained, do have proper stables and regular paddock time, ensuring their well-being. While the tack may not meet European standards, it is perfectly suitable for desert rides, and the horses show no signs of discomfort.
Al Jiyad Stables offers a range of horses suited for beginners. Their guides are attentive to the riding levels of everyone in the group, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
It’s worth noting that riders are required to sign a waiver, and there is a weight limit in place to prioritize the welfare of the horses. The staff were really friendly, accommodating and made me feel comfortable on my first ride. It’s really clear that they value each customer’s experience. The scenery was beautiful as the sun was setting and my guide was kind enough to take lots of photos. Truly a memory I’ll cherish forever. Highly, highly recommend! Every member of staff we dealt with was professional, skilled and clearly love the horses. The standards at the stables are second to none and the experiences are extremely good value for money as well. A place where they genuinely care about the well being of the horses and there is always fun to be had. The twins have learned to ride under the tutoring of excellent, patient, and friendly instructors. They can now canter confidently in the desert's wide open spaces.
The horses are well looked after and loved, which is reflected in the saddle when you are lucky enough to ride them. The location on the outskirts of the desert is ideal, especially at dawn or sunset. What really makes Sahara stand out from the crowd is its super friendly staff who have become like family. Ali the manager is hands-on and leads by doing that helps set the atmosphere Sahara has become so famous for. It easily warrants five stars all around.
