What travellers are saying
- Ariella J1 contributionThe walking trails in Koroyanitu NP are stunning. I intended to go with a guide on my trip because being a solo female traveller in an unknown place I wanted some assurances around safety (and to just be able to enjoy the hike!). A huge thank you to the folks at the Ideal Bed and Breakfast - I wasn't a guest but had read a review for their accommodation mentioning a guide for Abaca village where the hike starts. I cold called in to their place and they were super kind and flexible to organise one of their staff, Knox, to take me. They even offered breakfast, and Knox made a packed lunch. The cost in total from their accom in Nadi was 160fjd, not including the fee paid to Abaca village (25fjd ea). Knox knows the tracks well and was a wonderful guide, pointing/picking out local fruits and plants along the way.
Addit - The cost of getting lost is pretty high (literally - approx 750 fjd per person if the village needs to send people to search for you), so if in doubt, I highly recommend the guided version. Give the lovely folks at the Ideal Bed and Breakfast in Wailoala a call.Written November 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I always visit local markets and these were interesting.Written May 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sergey P5 contributionsServed food … clean, spacious hall. Highly recommended to tourists, locals as well. - Eva M13 contributionsMarch 8th 2023 . We were on a great organized tour. This was our first stop. Ladies must have covered shoulders and wear a skirt, but if you don't they do provide cloth to cover yourself. Man need to have long pants and again if they have shorts on, you will be provided with cloth to wrap around you. Shoes off for everyone. When we came it was a Wednesday and on Monday they had a flood. But you wouldn't know unless they told you. Everything was cleaned up and back to normal. The artwork is amazing, it's touched up every 8 years. It's was beautiful and a must see. The tour took about an hour and we were given brief history. All in English, great tour guide. We enjoyed it ☺️Written March 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ALAN BAdelaide, Australia163 contributionsMy wife and I visited here in January 2023 during a very heavy shower of rain and were unable to see much of what looked like a lovely garden. There was no shelter and the carpark was very slippery so we had to leave the garden shortly after arrivalWritten January 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard FLouisville, KY7,567 contributionsThis is a huge sports field and park where the local teams all gather on weekends to play. We were visiting during the week so there was no activity but, even though if is not a tourist attraction we had heard so much about it we decided to walk over and give it a look. It is a huge place.Written December 31, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lauren WMelbourne, Australia12 contributionsWe caught the seabus hoping to leave yasawas and fly home in one day. It arrived at Nanuya about 40 mins late and there must have been a head wind or something. As most advertised trip times were 3 hours but we didn’t have many stops or other passengers but this took about 4 hours.
The boat itself is fine. Has a toilet, a top deck and lower deck. All open air. Cost was similar to the big ferry that goes to port Denarau.
Fine overall but I wouldn’t rely on it getting in before 4:30 if you are getting a flight or have some other connection.
Plenty of cabs met the seabus, it cost 40fjd to get to Nadi airport and took us half an hour. (We got there as they were making final calls for check in)Written October 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GoPlaces363470537901 contributionOur group of four people in our early 70s were picked up at Lautoka Wharf for a four hour tour of Fiji. Mr Singh did an outstanding job of driving us to the Mudpools, Denaru Island or anywhere else we wanted to go. He was chatty, polite and full of information about Fiji. Mr Singh gave us more than the four hours and the company was easy to deal with, We thoroughly recommend Prince Tours.
