Queues for the food are hectic at lunch time so skip breakfast and have an early ish lunch.

It’s very clean and has plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from . If you like value shopping and eating, this is the place. Basically, people dressed in white carry small floats and everyone tries to get their firecrackers into the floats. It was insane and one of the highlights of Phuket. Be warned that the air is thick with smoke so most people wear masks. Some kind locals also gave us some cotton wool for our ears.
