Xanthos is better than Letoon. We brought lettuce and tomato to feed the tortoises of which we only found one.

This is an update from a year ago.
We were critical about the food, but this year it was brilliant. We only ate salads, but in salads one can taste if the restaurant cares about freshness, taste and variety of ingredients. Bravo!
Toilets are still a bit crappy, but all the rest is wonderful.
    Hooray!

Had a lovely day here with 3 families with kids aged from 5 to 16. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I found the prices reasonable. Not sure why some people felt like they had their pants pulled down - perhaps they did... ( we paid 120 tl for sunbeds not 160 tl, and drinks and food were priced the same as everywhere else ). Watersports were expensive but definitely worth it, overall a great day and would visit again.

The Mahal Beach Club is well worth a visit and only 10 minutes boat ride from Kalkan.
It's quiet and efficiently run with well above average food for a beach club. Recommend the local beer and for those who like truffle, a bowl of truffle chips. If you want an afternoon kip, I'd also have a couple of glasses of Turkish rose.
All the staff are very friendly and in particular Mehmet Sarigode. Our thanks to all of them for making our holiday so enjoyable.

After many many years, Palm Beach remains our very favourite, year after year it keeps us happy and we keep coming back. Polite and kind staff who always look after us and give us a warm welcome. Great, clean and modern facilities means it also seems to suit all age groups.

I believe this was artificially created, but works very well, in an area with few proper beaches. Parasols and loungers can be hired for 10TL per item per day the water is crystal clear but shelves quite steeply. There is a café/takeaway at the end of the beach and plenty of seafront/harbour side cafés and restaurants within a minute’s walk. If you like laying on the beach, hire a lounger and you could do a lot worse. If you want a swim in the sea you could also do a lot worse and all amenities are close.

We visited here three times during our two week stay . We pre booked on all occasions and chose sunbeds pool side . There are lots of levels with seating areas in the shade too . The restaurant food was very good and the staff friendly . We couldn’t fault our visits .

This is my second visit here (last one in 2020) and the Turkish Bath Hamam experience is simply unrivalled. Not only for the value, but the quality. I’ve had Turkish baths elsewhere but nothing has compared to my experience here.

If you’re in Kalkan, get yourself at least package 4. Add the foot care and salt scrub and you’ll feel a million dollars!

My massage was hard but got clicks and pops out of me all over, a proper job and I felt relaxed for the rest of my holiday as a result.

    Highly recommend!

We loved it there. The swimming is great, food good, sun beds comfy and staff pleasant. Our only problem was getting down the stone steps from the sunbathing platform to the steps into the sea. The steps into the sea are fine but the others have no handrail and being elderly and a bit unsteady on our feet we found it difficult and so we only went once last year sadly. If that has changed we’ll be back like a shot as we think it’s one of the nicer beach clubs.

A few miles outside Kalkan, up in the hills is the beautiful village of Berzigan. Located on a flat plain, the village mosque is the focal point of the village.
Surrounded by blossoming trees & bathed in the sunlight of a gorgeous February day, the picture was idyllic. Birds singing & bees feeding off the blossom of the almond trees, what a place to be. Well worth the trip from Kalkan.

We have known Haşim and Charlotte for quite a few years now and watched their business grow. They and their team can always be relied on for great cocktails and great service. This has now expanded into a restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent (the juiciest of lamb chops) and so was the service. We would highly recommend.
