What travellers are saying
- HannaSantander, Philippines15 contributionsDefinitely the most insane sea of clouds I've ever seen in my life. I have been to countless mountains both in the Philippines and abroad and by far, Mt. Pulag is a standout experience. Best months to visit is either April or May.Written October 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jeep_girl_00St. John's, Canada2,078 contributionsHad a blast with my cousins at Burnham Park! We rode horses and took a rowboat out on the lake. I had to laugh when they asked if we wanted to hire a man to row us around—no thanks, I've got this! It’s all good, I can handle the oars. A perfect spot for family fun and a few good laughs!Written June 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ed L4 contributionsThe Gardens have been improved with better maintenance. There are very good flower and plant stores where you can purchase plants for a reasonable price and the sellers are very knowledgeable
Cost is 100 pesos per adultWritten February 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Latrinidad L10 contributionsI recommend going really early to avoid the long lines. Its probably not worth it if you're really short on time. You'll be able to purchase their products in a lot of other areas that resell them (but of course a bit more Php) like the bus terminals and main tourist attractions.Written January 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Flordes Faith ButengLuzon, Philippines3 contributionsWhen i visited diplomat hotel it is really nice there. There are a lot of room that you can explore and also at the rooftop it is good for some pictures if you want to visit there. So far I have not encountered suspicious ghost as they say in there stories. Also at the bask there is also a garden there full of flower and it is also a good place to take pictures as well.Written February 21, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VincentVega34Melbourne, Australia41 contributionsThis is our first visit here for 10 years. How times have changed this place. What used to be a moderately busy tourist spot with a couple of dozen pasalubong outlets has turned into an overcrowded, congested marketplace with a viewing platform.
First there is the car park grifters charging 50 pesos to park. Then an “environmental fee” of 10 pesos to enter. Add more to use the cr.
Now fight your way through the hundreds of vendors taking up every square inch of space to reach the area where you can have a photo with Philippine icons like a st.bernard dog or a horse with pink hair. You can even hire an igorot outfit for authenticity.
When you reach the viewing platform keep fighting for a space to take a photo and wait patiently while groups take 300 photos of each other with each other’s phones.
The view is well worth seeing but the rest is a perfect example of tourism mismanagement. Is it worth it? We think not.
Most definitely will not return here and cannot recommend.Written May 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The locals are helpful in sharing places to visit.
And the street transforms at exactly 9PM into the night market where they sell pasalubong items, food, to preloved clothesWritten December 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - mamabelzLos Banos, Philippines3,162 contributionsPros: I enjoy coming to this market. It’s very colourful. My loot consisted of coffee, Fruits, flowers, brooms (from Mountain province) that last for years and all kinds of things.
Cons: Hard to get a cab here. Hard to park. Buyer’s beware- I’m not good at haggling. Nor am I sure if the fruits are as good as they look.Written January 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Byaheng-oldiesHong Kong, China682 contributionsAs a catholic we also make time to visit a church for our prayers wherever we travel around the world. This is one of those amazing and beautiful cathedral we’ve been. It’s where you can cleanse your mind, body and soul. Parking is not free and you’ll be charged 10 pesos for the first hour and a 100 pesos penalty if you over stayed.
The only worse thing is the public toilet when they charge 5 pesos per use and the toilet is so gross, dark and dirty! I wonder if the church administration tolerates this kind of condition and I’m sure it will be a worse experience for foreign tourists.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - dianne c150 contributionsSmall place with a 60 pesos entrance fee. There was this huge dog which you can take pictures with for a fee. I forgot if it was 100 or 150 pesos.
There were many tiny huts and a traditional dance. We did not manage to get to the top because we were so tired from the tour but the paintings in their gallery were quite beautiful.Written February 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Every single spot is a venue for a nice photo with the family because of the view and structures.Written July 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - April Esther VTaguig City, Philippines50 contributionsIf you have kids who like soldier stuff, vintage world war II tanks and retired Military aircraft, come visit the only Philippine Military Academy. The Museum for now is closed though and undergoing renovation. All safe as all these are seen al fresco.
Prepare for lots of walking. Bisita PMA QR code is needed as they limit the number of visitors per day due to the pandemic I suppose.
