Beautiful location and amazing, lush forest. Long trails and awesome views from the top of Jungle Trail. Some trails not maintained and had to turn around, but was super fun adventure. FYI the website that pulls up has incorrect pricing listed. It is $15 per person if you are in a small group (not $10 as listed) Also Cash Only. Totally worth it for a hour or two of intense, hot hiking.

We came to West End to do some shopping and relax one afternoon after diving. We got local ice cream, some souvenirs, and a great day to sit on the beach that was very busy. There are some cool businesses to visit as well.

Roy took our families, including kids and grandparents, on two excellent tours. On our mainland tour, we visited a chocolate factory, plus our kids got to play with monkeys and hold a sloth (squeals of delight 😁). On our snorkel tour, we had a memorable visit to a shipwreck with a beautiful coral reef that has grown up around it. Roy was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. A true Roatan expert!

From my communication with Mariela in advance of our visit, to our arrival, Spa Baan Suerte delivered 150%! Mariela greeted us (my mom and I) warmly as we drove up. She showed us to the pool area. and we were immediately offered cucumber water and mimosas. There were two other women at the pool area, but it was a quiet and serene location. We relaxed for about 30 minutes, and Mariela returned to speak with us and have us complete paperwork. She was very thorough and empathetic to a personal health issue. After a second mimosa, Mariela returned to escort us one at a time to our separate massage retreats. Mom chose the "All About Me" and I went with the "Cosmopolitan." Kathie and Irma were both just wonderful. The entire experience was heavenly for both of us, and we can't wait to return.

(We did not participate in a tour but booked this independently.)

Amazing space with an ocean view! Absolutely recommend! After yoga class you can just hop down to the restaurant and have a healthy refreshing smoothie or healthy vegan snack or fruit bowl! 🤩 love it there! Best place for yoga classes in Roatan!

We did the best of Roatan tour and had a blast. Our guide met us at the port and took us to a private SUV where we went to see the sloths. After that, we took a private boat to snorkel at the reef for an hour. We took a tour of the West Village, got to eat at a nice beach-front restaurant, and explored the village. We were able to make a couple of stops at places we found interesting and our guide had us back to port in time to have a couple of drinks and explore the port of Roatan before getting back on board.

I loved the aqua class, it is Soooo much fun! Being in the water is really the only way to exercise here in the summer and be cool. Michele is lovely and encouraging and so knowledgeable.

I took a fantastic yoga class here with Michele. I was lucky to be the only one so I had a private class with a view of the sea. Magical!

Blue Island Divers Roatan is hands down the best place to dive and stay on the island! Daniel and Carmen are outstanding instructors, and the Stress & Rescue training with Daniel was top-notch. Last year he took me through wrench certification. The entire team is professional, welcoming, and truly passionate about diving. The boat captains, Simone and Elton are quick to help you in and out the boat.

The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and the best value on the island for both lodging and diving. Gris, the site manager, was incredibly helpful, making everything smooth and stress-free. This is our second visit, and we won’t dive anywhere else in Roatan!

It’s perfect for our family of six—great training, a beautiful reef just minutes away, and the crew takes care of everything, including carrying gear to the boat. Plus, the longest boat ride we had was only five minutes! Can't wait to come back!

We stayed in Lawson Rock and drove about 2 min to get to Sol y Mar for a little nicer beach. The staff was super friendly and it was free to get in besides the drinks and food, of course. Kids had a blast.
