Many of the tours already have a schedule but I had already been to the island and knew what my nephew and I wanted to see. Our tour guide, Dolfos, was absolutely amazing! He told us about the history of the island, while driving us around the entire island. He knew we wanted to see the less touristy things so he also made suggestions and we couldn’t have been happier! That was my favorite day on our vacation and it was also my nephew’s favorite activity. Definitely ask for Dolfos! He is very kind and knowledgeable and laid back. This was my 4th visit to Victor Bodden Tours. I started coming here in 2019 with my Husband, we returned again in 2020. In 2023 I brought 4 more family members with me and last week I brought 2 more friends with me.
I recommend for anyone coming to Roatan to do excursions with Victor Bodden Tours. You definitely get the bang for your buck. It was private drive for us. We went horseback riding to see sloths. Very friendly knew his stuff. Moses a plus plus. I would highly recommend. Went above and beyond literally. Good guy patient. - Stephanie S14 contributionsWe had an amazing time at this ATV location where we got to experience a dune buggy adventure. We were given a helmet, goggles, and bandana for the ride. We were accompanied by Team 1 (Robbie and Onik). They made sure we had a great time! We were able to stop a few times to get pictures and a video taken of us. - Julie C1 contributionWe had a great experience. We arrived in Roatan via cruise ship. We were provided great and precise directions by Roatan Tucan Adventures and easily found our guide, Phil. We were transported in a completely private vehicle with personalized service. Our driver, Phil, was incredibly attentive and provided a great history of Roatan. We visited the Chocolate Factory on the way to horseback riding and it was very nice and the chocolate was delicious. My group really enjoyed the horseback riding, the only issue was our guide spoke little to no English which made instructions and question a little difficult but we still had a great time! We stopped off at the Rum Factory on the way back to the port and it was also a great experience with beautiful views. - Unknown2 contributionsThis website is a scam. The photos on the website are completely different from the actual place we go to. We chose to go to the horse farm, sloth park and glass boat. Only the glass boat is real in the three options. The other two Options will take you to the dirty and shabby personal horse farm, and then take you around the park... And take you to the sloth park with only five cages... It's ridiculous, everyone, please be careful of this company,And the driver's car is also very dirty and old. - Julia F5 contributionsAlfredo was a great tour guide of this beautiful island on our way to the beach, and took good care of my 88 year old mother—he gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, the beach club we spent three hours at was below average, a little run down. The beach was excellent, and we enjoyed the floating ocean “bar” where we purchased Pineapple drinks, but the beach chairs were uncomfortable and no umbrellas were available. We were put under some trees, which provided enough shade, but when I wanted sun, my only option was to sit on a towel on the sand (you have to bring your own towel.) - Brenda SClarksville, TN7 contributionsMy daughter has always wanted to ride a horse on the beach. We meet our driver Fordie who was great. He took us to the sloth/monkey park and got us checked in, we had to wait a while because there were a lot of people there. Our kids held the sloths and bird, the monkeys were just in the cage. We didn't know if we had to wait for the monkeys to be able to hold, but we saw our guide Fordie, so we decided to leave there and go to the stable for horseback riding. We enjoyed this, the horses were very calm and pretty much knew the path. A guide, named Bingo helped us mount & walked beside the horses and was very patient and nice. They did walk in the water for a little bit. The beach break part was a disappointment. Really no beach area, but there were chairs and shade. It was at the stable area/restaurant and there were boats leaving a dock for snorkeling for an additional cost. They provided menus, but we are kinda cheap and didn't want to pay to eat there. Our driver said he would take us to a better beach with a resort for $25 each, but we didn't want to pay any more money for our excursion. We did stay for about 30 minutes and then we had our driver take us back to the port. For anyone looking for a close up and personal encounter with Sloths and Monkeys this is the right tour for you. We also visited a Rum and Rum Cake establishment (the rum cakes are delicious) and a Chocolate maker (again delicious). Length of tour (3 hours) was perfect and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
