The Amber Fort is a magnificent fortress located in Jaipur, India, renowned for its stunning architecture and rich history. Its grandeur is evident in its intricate design, with impressive palaces, courtyards, and temples within its walls. The fort offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, adding to its allure. Jantar Mantar is a world UNESCO heritage site and a must see. It is an observatory and has the worlds largest stone sundial. It also has 19 fixed astronomical instruments - Fascinating place.

It is next to the city palace and since I had spent a lot of time there I made the mistake of not hiring a guide. I thought that I could figure it out on my own but when I overheard some other guides explaining things beautifully, I realized that I definitely should have hired one.

Visiting just the facade of this building, this place is iconic enough for you to make some nice photos from Jaipur.
The street in front of the building is super crowded, though, so expect a lot of heads around you on and at your pictures. If you want a clean shot, it might take some patience and waiting time to get to the right moment and then you need to promptly use it.
For the front facade of the building, no ticket is needed.

Great piece of architecture in the Amber Fort.
Pretty unique, although the Agra Fort has the "jewellery box" which is a precursor to this.
Recommend visiting early to see the elephants drop off tourists and beat the rush. (We never went up that way) They stop early to save them from the heat.

We really enjoyed our trip to the City Palace. I had no idea how huge it was until we kept going up floor after floor. Each room is ornately decorated with a different color scheme on each floor. The tile work, carpets, and architectural details were stunning. I especially liked the room with mirrors that looked like thousands of stars when a candle is lit.

Birla Mandir Temple is famous and popular. It is made of white marble and dedicated to God Vishnu. It was nice to see the spacious temple and walk around it.

We had a wonderful time with the whole Elefanjoy experience. From being very prompt with responses in all communications to ensuring safe drop off after, we were very happy with all the arrangements.

The main reason we chose Elefanjoy (out of the many elephant activities in Jaipur) was because it presented itself as hosting ethically enjoyable experiences. From what we saw, we were very impressed. We were given a tour of the premises to show the arrangements for the elephants living there.

The activity included feeding the elephant, while familiarizing with her, walking with the elephant and painting (if you want) with non-toxic colors and finally treating the elephant with bananas. The elephant particularly enjoyed eating the bananas at the end of it's walk and happily ate it and played with us.

We were very happy that we got to walk alongside the elephant rather than ride it for very long. This way it was a better experience for the elephant while we got to spend time with the animal up close, petting it,hugging it, feeding it for a few hours.

Will definitely recommend this ethical elephant experience. We also hope that they are able to continue building on their plans for expanding their facilities for the elephants.

It was a great experience with the elephants. My kids enjoyed every minute of it! Aftab Khan is very knowledgeable, patient and friendly everything that a mentor should be. Elephants are treated with utmost respect at Elefun and are seemingly happy. I would recommend this place in a heart beat! Thank you!

Wonderful history . Worth reading up on before. Be prepared for the cold if it is a winter day . Even if the city is sunny . Beautiful for photos is it’s a clear day . But even in the mist . Great photo opportunity.

Recommended by my uncle who visited this amazing place in November we booked elesafari for their pink city along with the elephant interaction program. We were picked up early in the morning from our hotel to make sure we cover most of the places and also have plenty of time to meet the elephants. The chauffeur assigned was a decent man who spoke good enough english to explain to us about Jaipur city and its history. We were allowed to explore places at our own comfort and were never hurried upon.
He even took to a nice restaurant for lunch.

The experience at the sanctuary with the elephants was a dream come true for an animal lover like me. It was so touching to see that ILU and his entire team are treating elephants like their family and the commendable work they are doing for their welfare. You can see the commitment of the entire team right from the moment you enter the sanctuary. The name of our elephant was Payal and oh boy! She was a sweetheart. Couple of hours wnet like a zap with Payal pampering her.

I recommend booking directly through ILU as it's very smooth and he is very fast in answering queries. Also the price of the Elephant interaction program along with Jaipur tour is very pocket friendly with top class service
