- Rita L2 contributionsOur driver arrived early at the hotel this morning to take us to the airport. He spoke pretty good English and gave a quick rundown on his country, Costa Rica. He gave us a souvenir and a snack. The van was very comfortable and he didn’t drive crazy. This is a good company and safe. My family and I had an unforgettable experience in Costa Rica, thanks to Bettet Call Jose! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized. The fishing tour was incredible—we caught some amazing fish and enjoyed the stunning ocean views. The horseback riding adventure took us through beautiful trails, and the guides were so knowledgeable. The jet ski experience was thrilling and made for an exciting day on the water. Each activity was well-planned, and we felt safe and cared for the entire time. We can't wait to come back for another adventure with Jose Paredes. Rosbin made it an amazing trip. He took us along gorgeous routes to our destination and even had us hop out and take pics of us. He drove us around to all the hot spots in Tamarindo to let us decide which one we liked the best, and he made sure we were taken care of and safe, and He even worked around curfew hours. My time in Tamarindo was one the best experiences of my life. I'll contact him the every time I'm in Guanacaste/Tamarindo. Thank you for everything, Rosbin.

- Ambrocious271 contributionI highly suggest Freddy Campos if you’re looking for activities in Costa Rica. We had an incredible tour of Manuel Antonio National Park, our guide was Raphael and he was so great and patient with our kids. He knew the park so well and we saw and learned about many animals. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Freddy is reliable and easy to work with and I can’t recommend him enough! - E D5 contributionsTropical Explorers became our go to service provider for our activities while we’re in Costa Rica when we realized what great service we were getting. We came with our large family, including grandma as well as younger children. We did the wave runner tour, deep sea fishing and tubing/wakeboarding/knee boarding (twice!) deep sea fishing we caught tuna, a barracuda and a rooster!
Brayan was very responsive, gave us lots of different options with variety and length of activities. Very professional and safe and we had a great time. If we get to come back to Costa Rica again, we will definitely use these guys. He communicated with us before and after our trip to make sure we had the best experience possible. He gave us a few options to allow us to tailor to tour to the flavor we wanted, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. He clearly loves and respects the beautiful creatures that he was able to show us. He is a talented photographer. He showed great patience while making sure the pace of each visit allowed sufficient time for the next. - Susan VHamilton, Canada1 contributionMarvin rescued us after the taxi we were travelling in was hit by a toilet. True story. We had just started our drive from the Liberia airport to our accommodations when a portable johnnie flew off a flatbed truck and disabled our taxi. Marvin was on his way home and stopped to help then subsequently turned around and drove us to our accommodations. Later in the week we had a fun day on a waterfall/rainforest tour with Marvin and we also asked Marvin to drive us to the airport at the end of our vacation. Marvin is a great tour guide – helpful, sweet, fun, reliable and punctual and he really enjoys sharing his love of his country. Marvin’s services are professional, informative and very reasonably priced. - Faith G1 contributionMy friends and I recently travelled to Costa Rica and stayed in Playas del Coco. We did a tour through Rich Coast where we went to the Cortez Waterfall, a guided hike, and a visit to a butterfly sanctuary. We got to swim in the waterfall and saw wildlife including a sloth, snakes, and tree frogs. We had so much fun. Our guide Nikole was so friendly and taught us so much about Costa Rica. I felt very comfortable with her, she made the entire experience even more fun. Our driver Will was so nice as well. We had the best time!! He speaks Russian, English, and Spanish and has a background in business, runs a construction company here, and is an avid surfer, rescue diver and nature/wildlife/camping enthusiast. He can do any tour on the beaten path and loves to take you to places no one else knows. We booked off the beaten path hikes and falls at his recommendation, but when we arrived there had been heavy rains that made those falls a little murky and he suggested a change in plans to go somewhere that would be prettier that day-and it was perfect! I appreciated that he wanted us to have the best time and pictures and offered a new plan.
We went to cataratas llano de Cortes, rio Celeste (a great little hike), swam in the river below, visited a wildlife reserve, stopped at a local hole in the wall spot for lunch and I’ve been dreaming of that food and trying to recreate the meal for the last week with no luck. We reserved a house with Vacasa in March and four weeks before our trip they told us our house was no longer available.
I reached out to Ron and he found rentals for us, recommended restaurants, and arranged airport transfers. He even lined up a trip to Diamanté Eco Adventure park for the family.
