We visited the Guanacaste area cloud forest, rainforest, and coast. Amanda was super communicative the entire time and reminded us of the next day’s activities. - Michelle W4 contributionsMy husband and I can't say enough about this travel agency/tour operator!! We travel extensively and, like many of the agencies who are willing to take on the extra work of people travelling with physical disabilities, they were outstanding. The entire team at this establishment, from the owners to the agent to the guide, went out of their way to provide my husband (full time electric scooter user who can no longer walk) and I with a fabulous two week vacation covering Monteverde, Arenal, Sarapiqui and Manual Antonio.
Agostina, our agent, was fantastic when it came to planning our trip. Her command of the English language was excellent, she listened to what our needs were and was extremely detailed oriented when it came to booking every hotel, activity and answering all our questions.
Juve, our guide/driver for the entire two weeks, was exceptional. He is definitely one of the most experienced guides in Costa Rica as he trains other guides and is called upon by the Ministry of Tourism to take people from National Geographic around the country. His wealth of knowledge and ability to seek out wildlife and vegetation was unbelieveable. He was also very experienced when it came to the accessible needs of my husband and was always sensitive and caring. By the middle of the trip, he already felt like a long time friend. He went out of his way to make our vacation the best that it could be.
The mini bus that we used with an electronic lift was excellent and had all the necessary safety equipment. The shower chair, amphibious wheelchair and manual wheelchair that they sent with us were clean and in good condition.
My husband had the opportunity to go horseback riding up a mountain, ziplining, parasailing and on a zodiac for a long river float with a few small rapids. He was so happy to cross a few activities off his bucket list.
Once again, thank you to Agostina, Juve and Stephanie for all your hard work. By the way, this agency plans trips for people without disabilities as well. The hotels they arranged for us on the last half of the tour were run down, dirty, unsafe, awful places. She has happily booked excursions on my behalf with no fee or extra cost to me. She has even arranged an appointment for a doctor to come to our hotel to do our PCR test 72 hours before my flight back to Canada. I cannot say enough about Brenda’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and experience. Don’t use anyone else.
