- Susan R2 contributionsWe used Interbus for travel from Montezuma and Monteverde, and from Monteverde to San Jose. Each route had at least one connection where we switched buses and/or used a ferry. All the buses were clean and all the drivers were safe and professional drivers, but their communication skills varied significantly meaning that sometimes it wasn’t clear to the passengers how all the connections worked. There are no bus schedules posted on the wall so you just stand in line and tell the teller where you want to go and ask for the times. The guide's enthusiasm was contagious, keeping the us engaged and excited throughout the tour. His professionalism and charisma made it a memorable journey.
