10/10 !! Beautiful garden with beautiful butterflies. It was £6 a ticket (foreign adult price) and I was given 2 handy info sheets about identifying different butterflies + general facts about them. It’s not a massive space but there are benches so you can sit along the butterflies. There’s also a “contemplation walk” and a small space in the reception area if you want to grab a drink and sit in the shade. Would absolutely recommend !!

If you are looking for a high end art souvenir from Costa Rica, this is the place. Small, but well curated. Conall was very well informed about the art works featured.

My wife and I began our planning for our Costa Rica three-week vacation over a year ago. Another family member's previous excellent experience with Costa Rican Vacations led us in their direction and we ended up working with Rachel Peck to make our plans. Rachel's services throughout our planning were extraordinary! She accurately assessed our trip goals, budget, priorities, and activity interests, and then quickly assembled a suggested itinerary. After several conversations and email exchanges to refine our plans, the final itinerary included five amazing resorts, multiple wildlife and scenic tours, all transportation services from the beginning to the end of our trip, and several great restaurant recommendations.

Five properties might sound like a lot in three weeks, but we wanted to experience a number of different parts of the country for our first visit while still taking time to relax and enjoy our surroundings. Looking back, I don't think we would do anything different except maybe taking one more day at our last stop to let it all soak in. In order, our five properties were the Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa in La Fortuna, Senda in Monteverde, Si Como No in Manuel Antonio, Rafiki Safari Lodge along the remote Savergre River, and Copa de Arbol Beach & Rainforest Resort near Drake Bay and Corcovado National Park. All five resorts were uniquely different and offered a great diversity of exceptional experiences, stunning locations, really good authentic local food, and wonderful customer service. All five resorts deserve five stars but the bookends of our trip at Tabacon and Copa de Arbol were beyond description. "Glamping" in the luxurious safari tents at Rafiki was also memorable and waking there to the sounds of the rainforest each morning was wonderful.

We also let Rachel know that we wanted to experience some of Costa Rica's unique wildlife, and she arrange some amazing small-group and private tours for us. I enjoy photography and I came home with a comprehensive photo record of beautiful birds, butterflies, all four species of resident monkeys, sloths, ant eaters, crocodiles, and other animals unique to Central America. The small-group tours of the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the Manuel Antonio and Corcovado National Parks were wonderful, but the private tour we experienced in the Cano Blanco Nature Sanctuary was particularly memorable with its wide range of beautiful river and canal passages, abundant wildlife, and authentic farm-to-table lunch prepared by the property owner. We also really enjoyed the white-water rafting trip and waterfall hike at Rafiki.

We will highly recommend this trip and all of these experiences to our friends and family members. Anyone who is thinking about using CRV for their travel planning services should give them an opportunity to propose an unforgettable itinerary. Rachel Peck, in particular, deserves a shout out for her impeccable customer service.

What an amazing experience! We loved Daniel. He was so knowledgeable and it was such a treat to learn about San Jose, Costa Rican culture, and see the sites. Definitely go hungry. Lots to taste. Lots to learn. Worth every penny. If you are on the fence do it.

We just returned from a family trip to Costa Rica to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The travel agency, My Costa Rica, helped us plan our stay (with a focus on birdwatching and nature) in great detail and made our vacation a truly positive and unforgettable experience.

They arranged for us to stay for a few days at the Hotel Jungle Vista which had a beautiful pool, a restaurant and bar, and was an easy walk to stores and restaurants. The Dantica Cloud Forest was in the mountains and was situated on a hillside surrounded by serene forests and lots of birds! And the Hotel Bougainvillea was just spectacular.

They arranged for all of our transportation and sightseeing needs; we never had to worry about a thing. The terrific guides they provided for our tours were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible and went above and beyond to help us see as many unique birds and sights as possible.

Representatives from My Costa Rica were in constant contact with us, providing helpful and valuable information about weather, tipping, what to pack, numbers and emails where we could reach someone with questions, etc.

My Costa Rica made sure that every single detail of our trip went very smoothly; we truly could not have asked for a more professional, thoughtful, expert organization to make our trip so perfect.

We took a rafting trip with Jorge, and it was a great time! Not only was he an amazing rafting guide, but Jorge was so knowledgeable about all the local wildlife. The rafting was fun and had some very exciting moments! We took a little break to hike to a gorgeous waterfall and got to dive in and swim in a little lagoon and let the waterfall rain down on us! We did have a little capsizing moment, which was a BLAST! It was a total rush to get dumped in the cool water, but we all felt completely safe and in good hands. The lunch provided after the trip was fantastic, too! The employees at the restaurant even offered to show us some local wildlife, a PORCUPINE which walked up nearby while we were eating! The scenery was gorgeous, the transportation to and from the river was fun, and the day was just all-around a great time! If you’re considering this trip, just do it!

Scott was an amazing tour guide. He gave us a truly unique perspective of what it's like to live in San Jose as an expat, while being extremely knowledgeable about his city as a local.

He's also incredibly charming and made us feel welcome. My husband had some difficulty walking at the time, and Scott was kind enough to personalize his tour to go at a comfortable pace.

    Thanks Scott! Pura vida!
