The actors presenting the tour are amazing and give a lot of information on the social, cultural and political history of the building and of the country. - DenverChica5280Denver, COCoco was great to work with for transportation- ¡super bien! Incredibly responsive and flexible (we were scheduled to land at SJO at 19:30 but got an earlier flight and Coco was able to get a ride earlier than contracted.) - Emma Lasiuk was amazing from the very start of our vacation planning! We've travelled to Costa Rica without kids before, but travelling with 5 now...we felt we really needed to have a PLAN! Emma arranged for all of our hotel stays, our excursions and transfers. - We used their services 2 times during our stay in Costa Rica. Tamarindo to Manuel Antonio and then to San Jose. A big shout out to J.P. and "Michael" to making our transport so easy and enjoyable! Great conversations, learned so much about their beautiful country, and they showed us interesting sites along the way. - Putting your trust and money in someone far away is always nerve-racking. Jason and his team did an amazing job. Everything was taken care of by their staff. Lorena was very attentive. - Kim TAustin, TXElena and her team at Costa Rica Expeditions were amazing! She thoughtfully curated our trip and provided very detailed information every step of the way! We spent the first half of the trip at Arenal Springs Hotel (a good hotel but not fancy). Highlights were ziplining and sloth tour both arranged by Elena and with reputable companies. Driver and guide then took us to Tamarindo Beach where we stayed at Capitan Suizo. Surf was warm and our 11yo took a surf lesson one afternoon! Animals on the property were plentiful and we got to see Howler Monkeys up close. We really loved this hotel and the short walk to town. We even emailed Elena and asked her to extend our stay there one more day—which she was able to do without any trouble at all. - David at Biotrans was great to work with from start to finish. All drivers were very safe drivers, knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. - Dreamer150016North Brunswick, NJWe just came back from our 10 days Costa Rica vacation. We were 14 people and rented a van with Danny as driver. We assumed Danny will be a driver who will take us to places we ask him to. From Day 1, our perception about him changed because Danny is ChatGPT, Google Maps and Wikipedia all in one. We had such a great time with him as a guide who knew each region, activities and restaurants very well. We were mostly vegetarian and he would recommend us places to go for lunch/dinner. He genuinely wanted our family to have fun and nice time. We completely trusted him with our luggage and kids. He is such a pleasant and lively person. He would delay or skip his own meals so we could have meals while he wait for us in the van to keep our luggage safe. Never asking us to rush back from tours/hikes we ended up doing. He took pictures for us and talked about the places as we drove thru the cities. He recommended Rappelling, Mangrove/Monkey Tour and even Catamaran tour to us. He had direct contacts with tour operators via WhatsApp which made it so much easier for us to plan/book our tours.
We highly recommend him as tour guide for Costa Rica vacation. We will definitely take his help the next time we visit Costa Rica. We have used the service for years during our many trips down to Costa Rica and have never been disappointed. Cars are clean, drivers are knowledgeable, accommodating and know Costa Rica very well. - We got a lead from a friend who had used them in the past - and they absolutely NAILED it!!
Seamless pick-up at SJO airport, transported us to/from our resort on west coast on opposing ends of the trip. Offered to make bathroom and/or food stops along the way - plenty of time to get to through security on way back, etc. Smooth and comfortable ride (well, as much as CR roads allow for!). Not only was he an amazing rafting guide, but Jorge was so knowledgeable about all the local wildlife. The rafting was fun and had some very exciting moments! We took a little break to hike to a gorgeous waterfall and got to dive in and swim in a little lagoon and let the waterfall rain down on us! We did have a little capsizing moment, which was a BLAST! It was a total rush to get dumped in the cool water, but we all felt completely safe and in good hands. The lunch provided after the trip was fantastic, too! The employees at the restaurant even offered to show us some local wildlife, a PORCUPINE which walked up nearby while we were eating! The scenery was gorgeous, the transportation to and from the river was fun, and the day was just all-around a great time!
