The best in Manila. The service and staff are excellent. They even gave me a birthday cake during my celebration of my birthday. Overall highly recommended

i was invited to speak in a recent event held in this hotel. it was my first time to step foot inside. upon entering, the grand casino would actually catch your sight. not my thing.

the venue was at the grand ballroom situated on the second floor. to reach the area, one has to pass thru another lavish display of slot machines, roulettes and other casino equipment. there are also several stalls selling signature brands for bags, shoes and apparel.

the main ballroom can accommodate more than 500 guests. but for this event, it was split to also hold booth exhibits at the rear. the audio system was superb.

food was, of course, excellent. tha wait staff knew their tasks and very dedicated in accomplishing them. cheerful attitude as well despite the very busy workload. kudos to COD servers.

and oh, internet all you can for the free wifi. parking fee is not collected as well. woohoo! but i have yet to experience an overnight stay.

This is our second stay in Okada Manila, having booked our first stay in October 2023. It was such a great experience the first time, we decided to book again a year later.

ALWAYS: Great staff, attentive and respectful. They always seemed like they would go the extra mile just to please you. Retreat Spa Bespoke massages were awesome. Newly opened Medley Buffet for breakfast did not disappoint. Lots of selections, including many Filipino favorites. Stayed at a Grand Deluxe Room with a view of the pool and Manila Bay.

HOWEVER: Okada Manila is showing some wear and tear. Although our room attendant was very respectful, the sofa in this particular room had not been vacuumed in a while. When I sat in it for the first time during our stay the dust flew all over. Being terribly allergic to dust, I had my coughing spells the rest of the stay in this room. Peeling paint, loose tiles in water closet and shower, peeling wall paper, banged up base boards, drawers that would not easily close, are just a few things showing wear and tear. Both visit times, the COVE was not available to enjoy. Wish there was more attention to keeping roof and common areas pressure cleaned or painted. When looking at the grounds from the 15th floor--the roofs, terraces, walkways, and walls were blackened from algae or mold growth which detracted from the beautiful views.

On our way to Spa Retreat, the hallways smelled very moldy, like wet carpet that didn't dry.

WISH: Would be nice if there was only one handle to turn on faucets in the bathroom sinks that would allow guests to select water temperature even with one hand. Wish the utility hooks in the bathroom were not beyond the sink counter and behind the tub making it hard to reach. Wish there was an easier way to get to Spa Retreat from Coral Wing. A golf cart was not always waiting in the areas where we usually see it.

SHOUT OUT: to Christian, MJ, Ashley, and Sol at Spa Retreat; Jojo and Tel at Mary Grace, the very attentive door attendants when we were checking out early Sunday morning.

Definitely one of the most important Catholic church in the country. Many Virgin Mary devotees come on a Wednesday. Inside , they kept reminding of the health safety protocols such as social distancing. Meaning patrons are to stay one seat apart from each other. Outside the church are those lining up for the candle prayer section. Also there are those selling prayer fliers , and religious statues as well. Further out are several fast food restaurants and even the Baclaran market. As well see people doing instagram , facebook and tiktok.

The place is nice, but it's not like other SM malls where you have a lot to choose from, especially the restaurants here..

Located in the backstreet, one is in awe as you approach the church with the huge white statue. The service was conducted in English, and the singing was beautiful. I did feel peace whilst sitting through the service. The big church bells rang while we were waiting for our transport which was quite nice. People were seated inside and outside the church which was convenient.

It is a church, and we attended the church service, while we were visiting Manila. There is a gift shop next to the church if you wish to purchase souvenirs.

A spacious mall in Paranaque close to good hotels and casinos. Many establishments are still yet to open, but you can already shop and dine at the ones that are open. Across the mall, there is a church and a parking lot.

We again enjoyed the world's largest multicolour dancing fountain.

Evening shows have a daily schedule: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., from Monday to Thursday, and from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., from Friday to Sunday.

We watched the amzing show from the ground as well as my sons room at Okada.

Its free and well worth watching.
