What travellers are saying
- Michelle H11 contributionsWe were recommended to check out this spot from a family at a winery in Mendoza so we did when we returned to Buenos Aires. INCREDIBLE! The shop was quiet when we were there on a Monday evening and Eliana let us try many wines from all over Argentina. We learned SO much about the different regions, did not realize how many great wines come from Salta! Eliana is so knowledgeable and very passionate. We loved nerding out over wine, it truly is a universal language. Thank you for a great night!Written January 17, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rodrigo F3 contributionsGreat place to taste Argentinian wines in an intimate atmosphere in cañitas a hotspot in BA. Hosted by warm and expert people Alex and Flor, I found premium quality labels.Written September 5, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hbhakhRoanoke, VA2,353 contributionsWe visited this restaurant as part of a food tour in BA. It's a very nice building in a nice area. We were served a couple of cuts of beef as well as salad, cheese, and bread. All of the food was excellent......I would definitely go back.Written February 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leigh DNashville, TN9 contributionsOn our three-day visit in BA, we knew we wanted to squeeze in a little wine-tasting/education and this was the most perfect spot! It's mainly a wine store, but they also offer informal wine tastings. They were able to accomodate us without a reservation right when we walked in. The sommolier, Miguel, was so kind, knowledgeable, and wonderful. He led us through 4 Argentinian wines and explained the region of origin, growing conditions, etc. We are far from wine experts, and he was very helpful in answering our (likely silly) questions. The tasting comes with a really nice cheese board of local cheeses and snacks. Thanks, Miguel! Highly recommend.Written October 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Judi CLakewood, OH540 contributionsWe decided to go to a wine tasting one night which was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel in San Telmo.
Our wine guide was young, but knew quite a bit about all of the wines we were tasting. Really nice girl.
I am a chard person and she introduce me Kaiken Ultra Chardonnay and I love it, but can't find it in the US. Darn.
Very nice time, a must.Written April 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a lovely selection of bread and cheeses before the wine experience which was complimentary! The staff were very friendly and took pride in their almacen and all the experience was incredible. - Josh SKaty, TX517 contributionsOur group of 6 had a nice round of speciality drinks at this speakeasy that is located below a floral shop, behind a freezer door that leads to the downstairs bar area. We arrived early, around 6 pm, and beat the crowds that built steadily from around 7 pm. We did not have a reservation but one is recommended. Had we arrived later we most likely would not have been seated. Our adult kids are cocktail and “mock-tail” fans and specifically wanted to check this place out given its very high ratings and reviews. Our wait staff was busy but attentive to us and the drinks were well presented and very tasteful. Our vast was ahead of a dinner later that eve so we did not eat at this bar but the food looked very good and would be an option.Written January 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AmericanoTicoTempe, AZ128 contributionsI walked into Licoreria Paradiso on a Friday Morning searching for first class Argentinian wines- in the $100 USD range.
There were 2 clerks in the shop. One chatting with a customer and the second behind the counter wrapping bottles that customer had bought. I believe it was a case of wine and thus I assumed an important client.
For 15 minutes I looked at the selection of wines and neither one acknowledged my presence or said a word to me.
I wanted to look at 2 bottles in the top shelf and too far for me to reach. When I finally was dignified with their assistance they were short and rude with their replies.
I visited 4 other liquor stores in the area, Microcentro and all were corteous and attentive to me.
Personally, I would avoid this place as there are better options nearby.Written July 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
