- artzero310 contributionsThe church itself is impressive no doubt. But joining the official tour (@4:30 and 6:30) means you would have access to different corners and external corridors plus the rooftop of the church with stuffing views!! I highly recommend. The tour is ARS900 only and it’s about an hour long. You can request an English guide.Written July 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ricardo M61 contributionsThis is a mixed street market (opens mid-afternoon and nights on weekends): lots of artisans with their handmade crafts (in the core of the market), but also no-so-fine crafts and antiques kind-of-flea market in the adjacent streets. Also, it is in the middle of the Güemes neighborhood, a great place to hit the bars and restaurants.Written July 9, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - graemerkBrisbane, Australia169 contributionsWe undertook a guided tour of the Cordoba Jesuit Quarter. The museum guide was extremely informative and very knowledgeable so we gained valuable insights to the history of the university and the Church, as well as the Jesuits in Cordoba, and the fascinating design features of both buildings. The guide provided us entry into the museum library and map room which we appreciated. The guide spoke excellent English and so we were able to discuss complex aspects of how to view difficult aspects of history.
Guided tours need to be booked in advance at the museum and not just done on a walk up basis. One can do self-guided tour but we found the inperson discussion with the museum guide immensely helpful so we're very pleased we took the personally guided tour. Very strongly recommended for those with interest in history.Written August 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - joseanoresCordoba, Argentina48 contributionsIf you have a day to spare, you won’t regret it. Trekking Los Gigantes is a wonderful outdoor experience, with fantastic views, wonderful sceneries and very rewarding. You must get a guide, or you risk getting lost. Clouds can move in fast and you will not know where you are. It tales 2.5 hours to get to the top (el Mogote), or you can stop half way at the Cerró de la Cruz. It can be cold in the morning, hot at mid day and cold again in the evening. Take plenty of water. And prepare for a day tríp you will never forgetWritten August 27, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jenna523 contributionsBuen Pastor has everything. And everybody’s in Buen Pastor! My flat was just 2 blocks away from it and whenever I pass by, I can’t help but hang around with the locals. Some are just sitting on the sides, others are having lunch/dinner/coffee. Buen Pastor is where you want to be.Written February 26, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
