No larger sold here, just real cask ales.
Really friendly.
A unique interior too.

- jow2006Bristol, UK66 contributionsLovely, friendly village pub with a lovely garden and rooms. We have stayed a couple of times over last year as it is near to family. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Will no doubt stay again in the future as would not look anywhere else. Good value for money with a good breakfast included.Written October 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lorraineg202Suffolk, UK53 contributionsThe food is good. My son had the Burger which he said was excellent. We also tried the Hunters Pie, which was OK.
It's very busy, even mid-week, so booking is advisable. The restaurant is very nice with a good ambience.
Our server, Ashleigh, was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. Five stars for Ashleigh.Written May 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Excellent range of ales, always well kept and a joy to sample.
Friendly local pub; I'm an occasional visitor with friends, always welcomed by bar staff and locals alike.

- tyketykeKing's Lynn, UK1,876 contributionsWe often pass this pub and today decided we should visit. Alas, pulling into the car park at midday, we were confronted by a notice board saying "Reduced opening times in January".It was not open until 4pm. It would have been more thoughtful to have placed this notice board at the roadside. We simply pass this information on in the spirit of TA....don't expect this place to be open normally this month.Written January 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stuart CHolbeach, UK49 contributionsBright welcoming bar near to bus station and supermarket. Both Portuguese and English spoken fluently by the owners. Range of draught and bottled beers available as well as very good coffee.
Bar stools at the bar, pool table in the rear of the bar and at the front there was a sofa and easy chairs plus two or three small tables and chairs.
We visited in a Saturday lunchtime. The place had a relaxed beach bar feel about it but the decor was far better quality. While we were there, several locals came in an out and were addressed by name, suggesting that there is a regular clientele supporting the bar.
We enjoyed our short time there and will call in again and see what their food is like.Written September 16, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
