- DiD4 contributionsI have been seeing Niddy for about a year now every few weeks. She is very talented at massage therapy and helps my chronic back pain immensely. I consider her a friend and enjoy chatting during my hour.
A big thanks from Diane :-)Written March 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you sign up for the mailing list on the website you get 25% off a treatment so it should've cost £30 but it was £22.50 which I thought was great value.
The girl who did my pedicure was very friendly, I'm sorry I didn't get her name. We chatted and she put me at ease.
They are doing some work at the entrance to the gym so from yesterday to get to the gym people were having to go through the spa. I understand this is probably unavoidable & temporary but there were a lot of people wandering around getting lost and the girl doing my treatment had to keep stopping to point people in the right direction. The pedicure was done in a kind of side section of the hallway. Normally I guess this would be in a quiet area but it's now fully on show from people going to and from the gym which made it a lot less relaxing and I did feel like I was on show a bit. Even I pointed people in the right direction at times! I think due to the current situation it would be best to move the nails section into an actual treatment room to make it more relaxing and private. Otherwise though it was great, I was offered a complimentary tea or coffee, and you get to take away the bottle of nail varnish to make touch ups which is a good touch. Really enjoyed my experience, it was just a shame about the added noise and footfall through what should be a zen space.Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rosemary WRamsey, UK28 contributionsThis was our first time at this hotel as a spa day treat for my niece's birthday and it did not disappoint. A lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting. The staff were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. The spa is small, but spotlessly clean and not too busy. I had the best massage I have ever had with the wonderful Serena and then a sublime lunch. We will definitely be returning.Written March 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
