What travellers are saying
- JackLeicester, UK17 contributionsWe couldn’t believe how much was in the Lynn Museum. Absolutely loads to look at and learn about. There’s a range of galleries to explore: “Seahenge”, civil war, space race etc.
Make sure you spend a decent amount of time looking at the cabinet of curiosities. All the cases are the original mahogany, too.
There are lots of things to do for kids as well, so this is well worth your time for at least a couple of hours with the family.
Don’t miss it!Written August 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Two of the original cottages of King’s Lynn’s North End still stand and they have been lovingly and diligently restored to how they would have looked inside.
There is lots to learn and look at.
I would say that it’s worth an hour of your time to learn about this important part of local history if you’re in the area.Written August 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Thousands of items all very well presented and a fantastic personal tour by a very friendly lad who works there. Met the owner and had a very interesting chat about motorcycles. Free to visit but only fair to buy some of their hair putty which I gave a test drive on our first night out after returning home and that also is highly recommended by me.
We visited without informing them first (not read the website fully), but they do appreciate a phone call before arrival so they can facilitate making your visit special by giving you their time.
I can't recommend a visit highly enough to do it justice.Written August 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Given similar sized minsters recently visited this was lacking in splendour.Written August 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JackLeicester, UK17 contributionsLet’s just say you’ll pay a lot more for a lot less than you get at The Stories of Lynn. Loads to do for children. Pushchair accessible. Lots to learn about and look at.
Staff were excellent. It was clean and tidy. They could charge a lot more than £3.95.
Brilliant. Do not miss out.Written August 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A relatively small area overflowing with a multitude of interesting exhibits, including extensive reading matter. Amazing “veteran” guides who introduced me to their new pride and joy, a Mosquito FBV1 flight simulator. So realistic, I nearly fell out of my chair and didn’t want to land, after attacking a farmhouse in Northern France.
Unforgettable visit and a complementary drink and free admission! We went to see A Slice of Saturday Night and also ordered a gourmet picnic. It was a fabulous evening. The show was hilarious and beautifully performed and the picnic was delicious. It’s a very friendly and relaxed theatre, and parking is easy. We love it and we will be back soon!Written August 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NorfolkSpinoneNorfolk140 contributionsThis is a remarkable property right in the "old" part of town. The tour is fascinating and reveals a quite astonishing history. So glad to have had the chance to see such a wonderful house which by a miracle has become a family home once more. The owners have striven to restore as honestly as possible and their extraordinary hard work and attention to detail is every where to be seen.

- I850SAmichaelw4 contributionsThe antique centre has lots to view. The beer cellar has a large selection of beers, wines and spirits. We particularly like the Belgian bers. - thenightporterSouth Creake, UK1 contributionFantastic local library, with very good opening hours. Not like some in the Norfolk area which are only open a few hours a week. Great selection of books for adults and children of all ages. Very friendly, informative and knowledgeable staff. Just moved to the area and this will definitely be a weekly destination. Thank you.Written December 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Martin PPeterborough, UK138 contributionsThis was the first time we have visited The Corn Exchange and we were really impressed.
We went to see a production of "Blood Brothers":
The auditorium was super and the seats on a slight incline so you get an unblocked view of the stage.

She is very talented at massage therapy and helps my chronic back pain immensely. I consider her a friend and enjoy chatting during my hour.
