I was given a guided photo afternoon as a birthday present, so I didn't know what to expect, but what a wonderful place!

There is a reception hut where you can buy warm drinks (tea, coffee etc), and snacks (crisps, ice cream and biscuits). The welcome was efficient but friendly.

For this particular 'experience,' a little truck pulls a roofed trailer around the 170 acres of land, stopping at various places to photograph the animals. The guide was very knowledgeable and would answer any questions. There was a walkie-talkie on the trailer so we could hear as we were going around.

As with any wildlife park, it can be a bit hit-or-miss as to which animals and birds decide to come out into the open, but there was certainly time (3 hours) and enough animals to see. At each stop, we were given plenty of time to get out to photograph the animals. Our group saw a lot!

I would love to go again soon!

*Technical note - photographers: A 80-200 zoom lens, or similar is plenty as animals weren't shy, and several came close to the trailer.

We had a wonderful day at Snettisham Park. We visited off-peak on a windy, rainy day but it was still really enjoyable with lots to do and see. My little boy (3), was able to feed goats and bottle feed baby lambs, we also helped collect and grade the chickens’ eggs and groom the ponies. The deer safari was excellent, beautiful scenery and getting up close to the majestic deer. The staff were all brilliant and engaging with my little boy, especially Leon, who was with us for the lamb feeding and was also our tour guide on the deer safari. Really interesting and we all learned a lot! The play area was great for little ones and the food and drinks in the cafe were lovely and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

Absolute gem of a place. Firstly it was so nice to be able to take our dog into the priory and surrounding walk. Parking was excellent onsite by the shop, wonderful customer service from the lady who went out of her way to tell us about the priory it's buildings and advice on a walk to a stream.

It's a lovely walk and is exposed to the elements, so if like us, it was a lovely hot sunny day, make sure you wear a hat! Lots of pockets of space for picnics which I think would be something I would of done as the views are perfect.

After our walk we then took the trail thru the fields towards the church and pub.

It's worth the price as the upkeep of the grounds, though if you are a English Heritage member you get in for free.

What a lovely peaceful place. Great for plant lovers, photographers and artists. Spent a lovely couple of hours meandering over the bridges and even spotted a kingfisher from the hide. Tea room offers a small selection of snacks and drinks and seems like a step back in time, in a good way.

We couldn’t believe how much was in the Lynn Museum. Absolutely loads to look at and learn about. There’s a range of galleries to explore: “Seahenge”, civil war, space race etc.

Make sure you spend a decent amount of time looking at the cabinet of curiosities. All the cases are the original mahogany, too.

There are lots of things to do for kids as well, so this is well worth your time for at least a couple of hours with the family.

    Don’t miss it!

This museum is steeped in niche, local history. Two of the original cottages of King’s Lynn’s North End still stand and they have been lovingly and diligently restored to how they would have looked inside.

There is lots to learn and look at.

I would say that it’s worth an hour of your time to learn about this important part of local history if you’re in the area.

The castle was fascinating and there were good interpretive signs. Compared to some other castle ruins that I’ve visited recently, Castle Acre was slightly underwhelming. It would be a great place to walk with friend family or your dog.

Let’s just say you’ll pay a lot more for a lot less than you get at The Stories of Lynn. Loads to do for children. Pushchair accessible. Lots to learn about and look at.

Staff were excellent. It was clean and tidy. They could charge a lot more than ÂŁ3.95.

    Brilliant. Do not miss out.

A brilliant day out with family. Went over the August Bank Holiday to see the 1300cc stock cars, Robin Reliant and Big Van Bangers races. Awesome! Things kicked off at 1pm. We arrived at 12. Easy to find. Easy parking in a field opposite the track. Short walk to the venue. ÂŁ2.00 to sit in the grandstand. Thought we would treat ourselves. Excellent view, unless a teen decides to stand up at the barrier to watch and gets shirty with anyone who asks her to sit back down. There is clear signage stating that people must remain seated. There is no need to stand. You can see perfectly well from your seat. It was a very busy event. We did not eat but saw burgers, chips and jacket potatoes on offer. There is a bar too. Long queues for refreshments that day. You can take in a bottle of water. States no more drinks or any food to be brought in although we saw several families bring a full picnic. Many took their own seating instead of standing or sitting on concrete steps around the arena. Air horns are a big thing so prepare your ears! We sat near a lot of air horns. It was a brilliant afternoon. The Big Van Bangers were a favourite - absolute carnage! We will certainly visit again. A brilliant afternoon.

Very peaceful. Wonderful views. Well marked walks. Parking charge is voluntary. Lucky enough to see a stonechat and cotton grass.

A very pleasant area overlooking the water with a lot of history. We lingered around for quite a while before going along the river.
