We had such a lovely day together with Ahmed and Yussef. The best guides ever! From the wonderful views (definitely one of the most beautiful hikes we’ve ever made), to the funny and kind guides and the delicious lunch made on a wood fire by Ahmed! A must-do activity when visiting Jordan!

Due to a problem with the car we had a quick 90 minute guided hike. This is an absolutely fabulous place. I would thoroughly recommend visiting here.

4 of us stopped here for a guided Bedouin walk and lunch. Great views over the valley. Lunch was disappointing, overcooked tough bony chicken and beef. About an hour's drive from Petra. Worth it for the amazing scenery.

I recently completed a 5-day trek from Wadi Dana to Petra with Essa and the team at Jordan Trail Guide, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly, and I’m especially glad I chose Essa as my guide. He went above and beyond to make the trip memorable, taking us on the most scenic routes instead of the quickest or easiest paths. The effort was well worth it—the views were stunning.

Essa and his team were incredibly attentive, ensuring we were comfortable and well cared for at all times. I always felt safe, and the level of organization was impressive. The food was great, and the hiking route itself was spectacular—challenging in the right ways and rewarding throughout.

If you’re considering this trek, I can’t recommend Essa and Jordan Trail Guide enough. It’s clear they take pride in offering an exceptional experience, and they absolutely delivered.

I wish I could give more stars. A once in a lifetime experience. Suleiman and his team went above and beyond. This is NOT your typical so so tourist thing. This is being welcomed like member of a family and a culture that feels like a warm hug. I felt as if I grew as a human being because I learned so much.
Suleiman is a remarkable human being and we feel so lucky to have met him. He will tailor your experience to your abilities and interests. His staff were equally as invested in our trip. The food was 5 star but more than that authentic, as was all lodging and cultural experiences. And I will add as Americans there is sometimes hesitation about travel to the region. Do not be afraid. We felt safe and well cared for.
If you want something that touches your soul, book a trip with Bedouin Journeys. Your life will be changed for the better.

This is my 3rd or 4th trip with Ali, who always goes above and beyond to help. There are never any problems, and he has an incredible knowledge of the area, the history, the people and culture. We have had groups as small as 4 and big as 30 people all from the US and abroad. He is an utmost professional at running these trips.

Mohammed is a WONDERFUL guide. His English is crisp, he’s filled with warmth and truly goes the extra mile. He took us to a fellow Bedouin’s house where we made bread in the desert. We were taken hiking across breathtaking views. He knows Dana like the back of his hand, and come nightfall will teach you from the stars. Thank you my man— if I ever have the chance to return to Jordan I’ll be contact again.

We went on a pleasant 3-hour trip and explored the Shaq al-Rish area where the landscape was very attractive and our guide prepared tea and gave us some biscuits and explained to us about the geographical and historical nature of the area.

Easily the best experience I have ever had on a trip exploring the country side. Our guide Mohammed was amazing. He showed us everything we could have scene in a hike from Dana to Petra. We camped in beautiful spots that I still think about today. Not only did we learn about the country side but we learned about the culture of Jordan and what it meant to be a part of it. Truly an amazing experience all around. You will not regret this trip!

I actually booked a tour through another operator and Sal was my guide. This was in June 2022. I was separated from my luggage so I had an uncomfortable first few days. Sal took me shopping to get some bits which was incredibly kind of him. With regards to the tour, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the Wadi Rum desert in particular. We had a good balance of being guided and having free time to explore on our own. It was a great experience. Now that he has his own company, I’m sure the tours will be even better

We're very happy to recommend Ali, who guided our group of 8 adults and 8 children with good humour (and stories!) on our 20km walk from Shobak to Al-Baydha. Thanks for everything, Ali! See you next time!
