- Melly K3 contributionsVery cool experience! We had dinner and got to see a magic show and every part was amazing. We had steak and it cut like butter! The magician was also super amazing and incredibly impressive. I can’t wait to make my way back!Written October 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Deborah SWellington, New Zealand10 contributionsOur family of four had the pleasure of seeing this show in November 2016; the wine was delicious and the magic was mesmerising!! David and his team are thoroughly professional and clearly at the top of their game. Would highly recommend to all.Written March 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bill O6 contributionsIf you want to enjoy first class service the way it was when Pan Am was still an airline this is the place to go. The food, the staff, and the 747 were fabulous. Every detail is top shelf, book a reservation and look forward to being treated like royalty.Written December 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Megan PJonesboro, AR22 contributionsThe show took place at Vitello's restaurant. The food, first of all, was absolutely delicious. Service was equally outstanding. The show itself was a little cheesy but in the very best way. The two detectives were hilarious, and my date and I both really enjoyed working through the clues and mingling with the other guests. You don't even need to be interested in solving the mystery yourself; most people were just there to enjoy the show, it seemed like. There is a small prize for being the person to correctly solve the who-done-it, but whether you win or lose it's still fun. It's a great show, and I would definitely do it again.Written November 16, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jon PLos Angeles, CA3 contributionsFor my birthday, I had Keith and Margo organize a private party for me and 40 of my friends at Guido's. Emma worked with me to organize the mystery - she was VERY responsive (even on weekends!) and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. I arrived a few minutes late and around a dozen of my guests had arrived before me - the staff at Guido's and Keith and Margo took care of everyone immediately and got things rolling. Everything was seamless from the moment I walked in. The actors were great, and put on a FUN and FUNNY show that kept everyone engaged and my friends are still talking about months later. Keith and Margo will ask you to provide some details about the party and it seems the more you provide the better a result you will get - so keep that in mind! Overall I couldn't be happier with the experience! Guido's staff was great as well.Written August 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChaeAmandoLaguna Beach, CA1,616 contributionsI spent a day museum hopping with my cousin DTLA and she told me about a pop-up dining experience where you dine inside a cube of projections. I said Let's Go, and that evening we found ourselves outside a nondescript warehouse nearby - eager, curious, and excited.
After welcome drinks and a brief description of the event by Montgomery, the incredible creator himself, you find yourself with about 18 other people, entering the darkened cavern of the empty warehouse. Glowing in it's center is a huge cube lined with tables. An innovative five course meal paired with wines (with Veg/Vegan/Gluten Free Options), 2 hours of creative experimental short videos/art films surrounding you, and a live performance midway of a weekly changing roster of local artists make for a magical evening. For a couple hours you are completely transported, senses are heightened and stimulated, and there's a lingering afterglow of having witnessed something beautifully unique.
My personal background is in Design (Art/Architecture/Theatre), and I am constantly traveling the world in search of exciting and beautiful experiences, so this spoke to my heart in so many ways. In the 90's I started exploring a growing passion for designing experiences and had always wanted to witness the London Based team, Bompas & Parr, with their grand and temporary culinary events - and here it is.
So lovers of intimate creative experiences, foodies, film & art enthusiasts - go soon because it's in the final weeks of it's final installment here in Los Angeles, ending a 7 year tour around the world.Written August 12, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
