- Blake W1 contributionAs someone who was using an electric bike for the first time, I was a bit nervous at first, but I’m so glad I gave it a shot! This tour totally blew me away. The electric bikes made the ride around Pebble Beach and the iconic 17-Mile Drive so much fun – they were super easy to handle, and the extra boost made those scenic hills feel like nothing.
Our guide, Zane, was fantastic! He knew so much about the area and shared some really interesting stories about Pebble Beach, the 17-Mile Drive, and the local wildlife. On top of that, he had such a great sense of humor, keeping us all laughing and engaged throughout the tour. It felt more like an exciting adventure than just a bike ride.
The views were absolutely stunning, and having Zane lead the way made everything even better. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting, especially if you’re new to electric bikes like I was. It’s the perfect mix of fun, learning, and breathtaking scenery. - Jim PChicago, IL302 contributionsThistledown and Row - who knows where these names come from - newly-opened just off the main street in downtown Buchanan, should be - when it gets up to speed - a major contributor to the town's on-going revival.
Four of us had a very pleasant dinner, within a month of its opening - eating very well, and sharing our observations on progress needing to be made.
The setting is plain indeed - no problem with that. Tables are set at a respectful distance, and the choice to avoid intrusive background music is a plus.
The inexperience of the serving staff was all too apparent - that will cure with some training and discipline.
The beverage list features ciders and beers from the local brewery from which then restaurant emerges - focus belongs there, rather than to a bare bones and uninformative wine list.
The menu so far is probably a work in progress - burgers and a pork tenderloin all well carried out. Taking a chance on the duck confit with roasted purple potatoes as side brought a better result than I'd have expected - if all the elements converge at that quality, the outcome will be worthy indeed.

- Valee H1 contributionThis was a pretty good experience. The car is a bit smaller than I expected so it was crowded. This wouldn't be a good idea for people that are on the heavier side. I had to keep talking my arm underneath my daughters, so she had room to steer her so that was awkward. Everyone in the office was super helpful and friendly. We were able to travel to all the major viewpoints we wanted to see and we could add a stop anywhere for any period of time within the tour period. If you have a plan and want complete flexibility, definitely go with this option. The vehicle itself was spacious and clean, the driver was very pleasant.
