Went on a Sunday with my friend and his dad, and the 3 of us were like wandering children at the zoo. Even though we got there a little later in the afternoon, we still had great product from which to choose for all the vegetables we needed. There were wonderful crafts and live music every couple of little streets. Huge and wonderful atmosphere, even entertainment specifically for kids.

Nice outdoor shopping area. We found street parking free for 75 minutes. There are many other shops and bar/restaurants in adjacent streets too.

Went this past Sunday to Arts/Crafts show they reopened this I was told in October 2020 it was not operational due to pandemic for many months earlier in the year
It was much smaller and limited compared to before the pandemic
small scale, much fewer artists and booths - so overall not as as good as years past
hope it will begin to rebuild again and more artists will start to join and participate again as things improve

To better serve the seniors in our community, like my wife and me, the store opens at 6:00am until 7:00 just for seniors. The food bar is not available during this pandemic, but the food behind the counter, in the meat department and produce are excellent!

The last time we were visiting Santa Barbara with another couple we bought fresh fish here to cook at our rental accommodation. Delicious! On our more recent visit in May we had to make a stop here with my husband’s sister to show her this great fish market as well as stroll along the wharf. I purchased a delicious calamari salad (to have with the fish tacos that we had at a nearby restaurant on their outside picnic tables in the sunshine). This fish market is worth a visit. Check out the other take away items too.

Shopping for locals, not a road trip destination. Nice shopping center, much like others around the nation. If you are nearby, or driving Highway 101 it makes a convenient stop. Otherwise, drive on by.

This antique shop was surprising given its location. It’s in the main pedestrian shopping area of downtown Santa Barbara...so it looks really small from the outside but the store is a lot bigger than it looks! It’s very long - goes way back into the back. Staff were very friendly and welcoming too so that was nice!

The store is laid out well and everything was clean and organized - so it was easy to see all the little knickknacks and stuff. It was mostly full of clothes, jewelry, and chachkies so I didn’t really find much of personal interest to me (nothing to say against the store). There wasn’t really any antique furniture or big items. I didn’t see many lamps or clocks or anything like that. Again, just a personal preference for my antiquing activities.

Since this is in the pedestrian area, I had to park in one of the public garages, but bc my visit was under an hour, it ended up being free. And it wasn’t too far from the garage either - with lots of other great shops to visit along the way. The only real negative for me was that this area has sadly become overrun with homeless in all the doorways and sitting areas, so just be aware.

Beautiful original paintings, friendly staff and best art work of Santa Barbara. Art Gallery is located in an outstanding plaza with two great restaurants. Located just off State Street and close to the Arlington Theater.

We were welcomed and paid attention to by the gallery owner (sorry, didn’t get her name and it’s not on the gallery’s business card....). We were not ignored, as often happens in galleries. There were many interesting pieces to look at, and not all were expensive. We highly recommend a visit. Also visit the gallery on Facebook or at @glenndallasgallery

On Anapamu across from Santa Barbara Museum of Art is this little gem.
It has been a great Art Gallery for many years, with restaurants involved. Sadly gone. Has great California Artists contemporary to historical Artists. Showing beautiful works of Art.One of our best Galleries is Santa Barbara. Have visited it regularly for years.

Excellent selection of fine pottery made in Italy. Very helpful staff.

Much better choice than shipping from Italy, with attendant customs fee on arrival.
