This garden is full of reconstruction work at this moment and upper area is not available to the public for hiking. It is still beautiful place to relax and meditate. Very special time is beginning of March when most of the fruit trees are in full blooming season. I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes, because of small gravel could be very slippery. Amazing place for family gatherings and scenic pictures. Younger children should be accompanied by an adult.

This is a fairly large area that seems to hold various buildings including a gallery space, a restaurant, and a theater. We just drove around and then parked to walk the spacious lawn and planting areas. Many of the plants/trees were labeled and there was quite a lot to see, including some very manicured, formal garden areas with sculptures. A very nice way to spend a quiet afternoon on a nice day.

Beautiful hike through old growth redwood forest. Path is somewhat rocky, walking sticks made things easier. Lots of tree canopy to cooler weather unless it’s a hot summer day.

Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Well stocked with books, periodicals. And lot of space for reading, online work (great wifi). Views from all the windows are all green and peaceful.

This hiking train is absolutely beautiful. It's is not long, but it has features such as the creek, the wooden bridge, and the many historical encampments along the way. We will definitely be back....

I just discovered this hidden treasure this year - it has a variety of trails for all levels of experience and expertise. The easiest one skirts around private residences in the park - one of them is Woodhills, the historic home of the Olders, which is open for a limited period of time in the springtime. For 360 degree views of the Bay Area, go up to Hunter's Point - it's a bit steep towards the end but it's worth it!

The parking lot is quite small and fills up fast. You can park on Prospect Road adjacent to the Saratoga Country Club and walk into the park.

Many families visit over the weekend. Deer, turkey and coyote sightings are fairly common.

Nice village atmosphere for strolling. Quite a few restaurants- some very high end,but a few more casual like Big Basin Burgers.

Also nearby is Mountain Winery where they have excellent concerts from the Spring to Fall.

We had the most amazing wine tasting experience yesterday at Mount Eden Winery! They exceeded our expectations. Thank you Tom for sharing your knowledge of not only the wines, but the history and intricacies of this vineyard.

We enjoyed meeting the resident dogs, Rusty and Roxie❤️ So sweet.

We look forward to enjoying the 2016 Mount Eden Cabernet Sauvignon that will be accompanying us on our flight back to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It’s securely tucked away in our luggage! Cheers! 🍷🍷

Absolutely beautiful view! Very comfortable setting with good appetizers to pair with the wine tasting. Nice facility and good service. Highly recommend this place for either a group of friends or as a couple's outing.

It was a Saturday and our first winery in California. It was really busy but we managed to make it to the front to try some wines. My father in law loved them all and bought a few bottles for dinner that night while I was a bit more picky. They had a lot of different types of wines sweet, dry, etc so it left room for everyone to find atleast one that they liked. Really enjoyed the area and the beautiful views but it was just so busy it felt crowded so we didnt stay long.

Our family has been to this park a number of times. It is located very near downtown Saratoga. There is a large grassy area, a really nice play area for the kids, bathrooms, and a creek that flows through the edge of the park. All the times we have been there it has been clean and not too crowded. There is also a section with picnic tables and a volleyball court. It's not a large park but it's got a lot to offer. The only downside is that it has a very small parking lot so you may have to park on the street or in a nearby parking lot. There is a warning sign about the bacteria levels in the creek so be careful if the little ones interact with the water.
