- Krystal B1 contributionWe thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Lake Tahoe. It is much better than the tour busses. You get to go out on your own pace and take as much time needed for the scenery. We did not get to finish the tour in one day since we started late. The only reason I am giving this a 4 STAR and not a 5 STAR is because we stayed in the North Lake Tahoe area, although you can start the tour in the south or north of the lake, there is no way to go counterclockwise on the tour. We started in the North going clockwise to the south and wanted to finish up by going counterclockwise to the south to avoid going through the beginning of the tour all over again.
