What travellers are saying
- Dr HookBaltimore, MD65 contributions2nd visit to Temecula and this was for a concert at the Old Town Community Theater. I was able to find some free street parking about 4 short blocks away but missed the entrance to the theater and had to walk all the way around the block to find it. A very nice quaint small theater with all of the seats within good viewing distance of the stage. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was kind and courteous. The performance was wonderful and the only drawback to the evening was the concession stand was outside of the theater at the next building. It just so happened to be raining a bit that evening. No camera photography was allowed at this performance; however, the artists did do a meet and greet after their performance.Written March 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PhillyShaneyPhiladelphia, PA1,326 contributionsI had a wonderful time visiting this boutique winery! It was a lovely day and the atmosphere was festive! While sampling wines we got a visit from Santa!
The staff were friendly and helpful during our wine tasting!
The parking lot was huge, but there was a cart that came through to take you from your car to the front entrance of the winery!
What lovely memories were made during this visit!Written December 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As you walk to the back, you’re greeted with a nice outdoor space but first, walking past the outdoor dining room. Tons of places to sit. We sat upstairs overlooking the garden.
They didn’t have much sweet wines so I opted for a glass of moscato. The moscato was more sparkling than flat. My friend, who is a member got Beverino which was extremely sweet like a dessert wine. I probably would have gotten that had I tasted it first.
They don’t allow pets. However they allow children in the restaurant which was why she became a member. We brought light snacks to munch on.Written February 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Unfortunately, I still have to give negative comments on one of their restaurant—Pechanga Cafe. Our dishes were delivered cold plus for the first time I have ever order a side dish of asparagus that had only 4 pieces and it cost $8. That means $2 per piece which is outrageous!Written March 10, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Joelle Z3 contributionsOne of the best hidden gems in Temecula. A family fun business - they do hot air ballooning from the same venue. Be sure to check that out, it's a thrill. Wines have won some pretty impressive awards and are the best in Temecula.Written March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ilovetotravel2Toronto, Canada169 contributionsBeautiful winery with live music. Property overlooks the vineyards and mountains in the background. Wines were good but host wasn’t as engaged or informative. Didn’t take the time to understand what we preferred.
Would return to grab a glass, enjoy the live music and take in the views.Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We ordered 2 glasses of Cab Franc and relaxed in their air conditioned room. We couldn’t figure out what the little glass room was for that was in our view next to us. It was packed with ‘stuff’ including a vacuum. Was a bit of an eyesore to sit near. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the quiet time inside on a 100 degree day.Written June 16, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - elizabethlascheidLos Angeles, CA5,271 contributionsRicardo Breceda is the artist. He created most of the desert sculptures in Anza Borrego. Ricardo also has an amazing outdoor art gallery in Aguanga, CA which is 20 minutes east of Temecula.
The entrance fee is $10 and is worth every penny. It is just amazing. The staff is so nice and there are artists there. Just wow.
The park is super large and you could spend all day there. We were there a few hours. You can have a picnic if you want.
You can just walk around and see the art work, all metal. The area around it is stunning. The location can't be beat. Now, it is super hot in the summer so I would stay away maybe June through September.
You can also buy some of his art. I can't afford any of it, but it was sure nice to see and now I know where it is.
Take your kids. They have the coolest dinosaurs and they are huge. They have some comic sculptures as well.
You have to check out the art gallery park. And no, I can't afford any of this.
This is an amazing place. Once you get up the hill, look down on 100's of sculptures.
Absolutely amazing metalwork. I planned on being a little bored. I wanted my grandson to see the dinosaurs. I was so wrong. I was in heaven, The sculptures go on for miles. I love this place.Written April 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I used to race motocross, so this was exciting for me to share with her. Rose,
Salo and Susan, thank you for making our visit special.
I WOULD RECOMMENDWritten February 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - elizabethlascheidLos Angeles, CA5,271 contributionsThe Alpaca Hacienda is sadly closing sometime in May and now it is only by appointment. Just go to their website to make an appointment. This place is super cute and the staff is just wonderful. They are passionate about their alpacas and love them. They are well cared for and cute as can be.
The grounds are in a lovely area and the place is kept clean. They has a little store and they have the most wonderful Alpacas. They are just so cute and they are super gentle. Your kids will love seeing them. The Alpacas have lots of space and they all seem to get along.
It is sad to see this place go. We will miss it.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - LephaMurrieta, CA625 contributionsWhen our grandkids are in town, they beg to go to Pennypicke's! One is 11 years old now, but still begs to go. She loves showing her younger cousins around.
The word "museum" doesn't adequately describe this place. In most museums, you are to look, and never touch. Pennypickle's is designed so that kids and go in and touch EVERYTHING! There is a music room with a piano, drums, and other instruments. There is a room with gears, and kids love to turn them. There are great tunnels for the kids to climb through. Another room holds table-top puzzles.
There are 3 different sessions each day. The museum is cleaned/disinfected/wiped down in between each session. Took at the website before going in so you don't enter near the end of a session.
The workers are very calm and helpful! Most of us wouldn't last a day as a worker here; these workers are saints.
We strongly urge you to go!Written October 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very engaging, friendly, and she shared a lot of her wealth of knowledge about the wines. It is the personal touch such as Jasmine provided that will bring us back to a place when there are so many wineries to explore. Next time, will try to sit outside to enjoy the views.Written November 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
