There are almost no words to describe the beauty of the formations in the park! The visitor center has a snack bar, museum exhibits, a short film & a nice viewing area. There are multiple options for enjoying the beauty of the park - self guided tours by personal vehicle, and paid trolley, jeep & bike tours. It just depends on how long you have & how much you want to pay.

This is the best zoo that’s I’ve ever visited. The animals are well taken care of, and the staff is super knowledgeable and nice. It is a huge zoo so be prepared for lots of walking. Feeding the giraffes was the highlight of the visit. What a fun trip.

besides the tour of the academy, it is good to go to the observation area which is an overlook accessible from the highway. There are explanatory notes there as well as opportunity to view small training aircraft.

My wife and I had an amazing, interesting, and incredibly informative guided tour of the museum. Our guide was Ray White. If there is anybody more informed and interesting than Ray, I would have a hard time believing it!!

Always a great place for a hike! Very beautiful like Garden of the Gods without all the extra people.

We stopped in and we’re able to get on a tour starting in a few mins. It took about an hour.

We were taken through several of the training buildings. There wasn’t many athletes around so it was kinda quiet.

There is a film, but since this is a training facility and not a museum, there weren’t exhibits. There was a gift shop.

We’ll worth taking the time to visit.

Wanted to get out and about but because I've been having issues with my piriformis, didn't want to overdue it. My husband found this trail that is not strenuous and runs along the creek. It was perfect and beautiful. Even though I lived in the Springs for 3 years when I first moved to Colorado and did a lot of hiking around here, I'd never been to the Starsmore Discovery Center nor the trails that you can start at from here. I'd heard of the Starsmore just never made it over there. The visitor/discovery center is in an historic house that was actually moved there. It's a beautiful place from which to start. When we came back, we stopped at the creek and got our feet wet. Perfect if you have little kids or just want something nice but not too long or too strenuous.

This is a lovely, shaded trail next to a beautiful sream. There is a great view at the top as well. However, parking was difficult on an off-peak weekday, and the trail was relatively crowded. Also, the uncover colorado site says the trail is rated "easy". The length (5.5+ miles) and the elevation gain (1500 ft), combined with the high altitude (8200 ft) would make it more of a "moderate" hike to this sea level flatlander. It was beautiful, and free. Worth the visit, but very crowded and noisy, so that detracted from the beautiful scenery.

This is my second time to visit the falls. The first time was before the flood damage and before the Broadmoor owned the falls. I honestly liked it better back then. I remember being able to park at the falls or at least within walking distance. Now you have to park and ride a shuttle bus to the falls. Luckily we got on a shuttle pretty quickly. I also remember there being a cute native American teepee at the foot of the falls....that too is gone. The original gift shop was a lot better! They had the best souvenirs. There are 3 gift shops at the park now and they are all horrible. We were very disappointed with that. The only good part of the day was the falls. They are still as pretty as I remember and the stairs to the top are still as strenuous as ever! Be sure to wear good walking shoes! There is an elevator to an overlook but if you want to do the hikes at the top of the falls then you'll have to do the stairs. I didn't see a connection between the two. Overall it was a good day but I won't return again.

These falls are not very big. But the drive up very beautiful. You can walk above the falls. Great location for nice pictures.

Our walk of the district was marred with snow but that didn't stop us. The historic fronts of the building took you back in time.

Has a lot of exhibits and objects for a free museum. You get a real sense of the history of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. The museum covers a variety of subjects and even had interactive exhibits for younger children.

You can always tell a purpose build museum with money behind it - this is one. Focus split 50/50 between a historic carriage collection and Pike's Peak cars / history. The carriages are actually very interesting and well signed, explained. On the Pike's Peak side, there are a few early cars, some interesting history and films clips. Also the Penrose's have a neat section to themselves with is worth taking time to view and read - fascinating lives. You end up being basically forced to park in the Broadmoor garage, which museum validates - though I probably stayed longer than time allotted so there is still a charge (wandered through the historic hotel itself across the street). All in all a good experience and when I have more time will return to drive PP itself - newly instituted reserved slot system, you cannot just go on a whim, though am told 'next day' slots often (not always) available.

I visited for the first time recently with my sister. It was an unexpected visit as we simply intended on visiting Garden of the Gods. This place is located directly beside it. There is plenty of parking and the entry cost of $8 was an absolute bargain. There was so much to see, with people dressed in period costume and each person was so informative regarding the history. There was a Blacksmith working, ladies making apple sauce cake, musicians, the whole place was amazing! There is a gift store and the place is amazing for photographic opportunities. Absolutely worth a visit.
