This place is such a neat experience. I will say up front it was closed when we got there so we could not tour the inside but reading about it definitely made us wish we could have. Aside from the unique and mysterious vibe the castle gives, the grounds around the castle are amazing! There’s a beautiful pond and trails through the forest. There’s Also a breathtaking view of the river. We had a lot of fun here and would definitely come back.

We parked in the lot across the road from the trail. Looked at the view from the top.
He was unable to get down to the main trail, knowing it would be hard for him to get back up.

At first it isn't bad, then the trail turns & it's rocky & rooty all the way down. It's still very short - about .1 miles.
We got there around noon & there were people swimming & enjoying themselves.
The falls are very pretty, even in August & were worth climbing back out to the road!

I love taking my clients to the Farm. They love to feed the animals, or just look at the horses grazing in the fields. I buy feed at only $2 a tub and feed the alpacas and sheep. Plus its free!

Historic bridge - not too many left with this design, check the closing schedule for the 63 hour mandatory closure to auto traffic - not 100% sure why but it is posted I was old it takes another 15-20 minutes to get to the other side when the bridge is closed , also they were paving seems like bridge is maintained nicely, good view from gelston parking lot as well

What a wonderful place! We saw Maggie. The story was new to me and believable about a country’s loss of young people to immigration and its impact on the families left behind. The singing was amazing! It was a nice evening just to be inside the theatre.
