    About 25 rides a few large/haunted house.
Most rides only needed 2 tickets, bumper cars 5.
Small boardwalk when comparing to wildwood NJ but sufficient for toddlers and young kids. Boardwalk gets crowded.

Our first trip to Rehoboth Beach and our friends took us to the Boardwalk. We started with lunch at beautiful Victoria’s then strolled down the boardwalk taking in views of the beach and water. We checked out the little shops and food joints. The weather was nice, the area clean and we enjoyed spending time with our friends on the boardwalk.

Actually 80 degrees today (last day of October), beautiful day to walk on the beach, but typically Fall/Winter is so much nicer to explore vs summer & the rush of people (in my opinion).

Large park with camping, easy beach access, and fishing opportunities. Friendly, helpful staff. Camp sites are in close proximity with no cover. Sites are paved and level with water, electric, and sewer available. Bath and shower facilities are clean but inadequate for the number of campsites. Be prepared to wait. Parts of the campground flooded during our stay, leaving some sites under a foot or more of water. Try to avoid the sites near the river or marsh. There are two bars/restaurants within walking distance, depending on what campground you stay in. Many more restaurants are a short drive away. We would stay again when passing thru.

Tanger is broken up into 3 centers, Surfside, Seaside and Bayside along both sides of an extremely busy Route 1 over a 1 mile stretch. There are around 115 stores in these 3 centers and have just about every store we are all familiar with in these outlet centers in the country as well as some nice independent and regional shops. It was nice to see few vacant store fronts since some centers have been struggling. We were here also for the Schellville Christmas Village which was behind Tanger Seaside.

As an avid trail rider, this was just the thing I needed to get off the beaten path at the beach and I managed to do 18 miles thanks to another reviewer’s expert advice. Do yourself a favor and check it out. It was so easy to follow signage from Lewes public libretto to downtown Rehoboth and then back up through Henlopen acres through Gordon’s Pond and up Rt. 9 to Lewes again. Flat terrain, some shade and incredible views. Make sure you leave time for a stop at Whiskey Beach. It’s gorgeous!

Jungle Jims is the largest waterpark in Delaware. I was here last year for the first time. At that time my family of six enjoyed ourselves, therefore, we returned here again. This time I returned here with my family of five including two young children in June. There is lots of parking. You can’t bring your own bottled drinks here. Any bottled drinks including water must be left at the entrance. Your own refillable water bottles are permitted. I assume they want you to purchase your drinks other than water here. Our children were above 42 inches in height, therefore, they were charged the adult rate of $48 per person. We had access to the entire facility, including all water slides. There were no limitations. My total bill for the five of us was therefore $240. They have a cafe and gift shop. The cafe line is long during lunch. I recommend going either before or after the lunchtime rush. They also have bathrooms with showers. The place is quite impressive for a wide range of young and older ages. The Anaconda water slide is the most exciting two man water slide. They also have a five person water slide. I enjoyed all of the water slides, the lazy river and the wave pool. There is also a kiddie pool for the younger children. I will definitely return here when the weather is good.

Finally went here due to a complete lack of sunshine. You don't need much time or money to visit. It's a great peek into the hardships of those who paved the way for us to safely enjoy the beach. Check out the instructions on the safety equipment, I so want to hit the refresh button and backspace through the extra words but alas it's not a dynamic display.

We arrived and the bartender immediately greeted us, asked if this was our first time, and offered suggestions. We had the best time and enjoyed their beers! It’s small inside with a few tables, outside is nice too. Definitely going back not just for the beer but for the excellent service!

What an amazing small theater. We are fairly new to the area and have seen Little Shop of Horrors and Misery. Two very different shows but equally performed by very talented casts. We are now buying season tickets and look forward to viewing many wonderful shows. Kudos Clear Space!!!

The Joni Mitchell song “Big Yellow Taxi” has a line that goes:
“They took all the trees, they put them in a tree museum
They charged the people a dollar and a half just to see them.”
Anyone who has been coming to Rehoboth since the before-time (pre-outlets) must be as horrified as I am about the rampant development and destruction of natural resources that has occurred here. What used to be a peaceful little town on the ocean is forever a booming mini-metropolis surrounded by the blight of commercialism and developers’ greed.
Mercifully, an oasis remains. Henlopen Acres, a heavily deed-restricted community, is home to a property that has stood nearly unchanged since the mid-1700’s. We are fortunate that the Corkran family in 1938 left behind the legacy of the Rehoboth Art League. The ancient home and barn, while maintaining their historic integrity, have been repurposed into gallery and studio space, respectively. Just down the hill is a more recently constructed gallery that blends organically into the bucolic pine forest. All around, it is a refreshingly stark contrast to the madness only minutes away.
Open year round, visitors can gaze at a continually changing exhibit of local artwork, much of it well-curated, and of high quality. Nearly every piece is for sale, and at surprisingly reasonable prices. There are also special events here like the RAL Outdoor show in August, and the Cottage Tour, one of the town’s best happenings.
Visitors should take a break from the beach, boardwalk, and shops, and come visit the tranquil surroundings of the Rehoboth Art League. It will remind you why this area has been a getaway from hectic life for over 300 years.
