Next to the pier 60 is the GIANT Waterslide and Bungee trampoline, I love that it is family friendly and activities for all ages right on the beach. Knowledgeable and friendly staff explained the fruit infusion process, why they don't use preservative chemicals, and the differences between European and American winemaking. We sampled several excellent wines and took 3 bottles with us when we left. - Chris N6 contributionsHad a great time, we loved watching the dolphin show! Staff was very nice. We were under the impression they had manatees but turns out they don't just yet. However they have other amazing creatures and it's awesome to see the work they do with them all. They also sell brews there where the proceeds go right back into the aquarium. Unfortunately you have to drink them there but it's still a good time!
The only thing I could say that could be improved is how confusing it is. I understand animals have to be placed in certain spots but it is very hard to find your way around. - LakewoodRanchSue7 contributionsThis is a beautiful venue. Outdoor music before the show, free parking, friendly staff, ample concessions at reasonable (mostly) prices. Saw Van Morrison and the sound system was incredible. One big downside…there is no center aisle. People constantly getting up during the show was very disruptive to the enjoyment of the concert. Not so many people, parking is free and there is a lot to do in a short time to have some fun with a family. For instance, there are some shelter birds like a bald eagle or a hawk. The trip was pleasant as we rode up and down the coast from Clearwater all the way down to the last stop and the bus is air conditioned so that definitely felt good. Just something nice to do some afternoon and you can get off to shop or eat here in there if you want. Definitely can’t be $2.50 fare for seniors and $5 for others that allow you to ride all day and get on and off as you want.
