- christopherbO9687MPActon, MA747 contributionsThe Ragtops Automobile Museum has a nice small collection of classic cars from multiple eras (some dating back to the 1930s), all for sale. There were ~15 cars displayed the day I was there. Each of the cars has a placard explaining its history and some of the previous owners over the years. There's also an extensive display of automobile memorabilia that will take you back to the gas stations & toy car collections of earlier times.
Note that the TripAdvisor address listed for this Museum's location is incorrect. The current (larger) location is 701 North Dixie Highway (US 1) in Lake Worth Beach.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The current service men and women that were present that played the buggle and presented the American Flag did an absolutely wonderful job. They were so respectful to our family and showing great respect and sincerety for our lose of a former American Soldier. The cemetery itself is beautiful and fantastic. - Malcolm SPalm Beach County258 contributionsFrom the parking area, Snook Islands barely makes a mile, round trip. And that includes a fairly long walk from the available parking to the boardwalk.
But we've been here twice in the last couple of years, and the payoff - bird sightings - has been worth it. Ospreys, waders, and divers. I can't name them all... but we easily spent a couple of hours watching the birds - both in the Intracoastal, and along the shoreline.
This isn't usually a spectacular birding site... bu we've seen some terrific osprey action here. Snook Islands should provide an hour or two of fun for any dedicated birder.Written February 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
