Our fourth grade students and their chaperones were treated to the best and most unique tour at Sydonie. On the tour, our students heard about events and historical figures that we learned about in class. It was a great way to make Florida history come to life. The restoration is amazing. The gardens are magical. We hope to return next year with the new fourth grade classes.

This place is an antiques lovers dream. There is so much to see. The antique barn is one of the largest we have visited. The individual shops are nicer than the inside shops.

The flea market section is mostly junk. The marijuana stuff is disappointing.

SHOUT! The Mod Musical. This was a fantastic performance. We have been season ticket holders for many years, and this was one of the best performances we've ever seen. Four fantastic ladies carried the entire performances with so many of the songs we remembered. A MUST SEE.

Visited Mount Dora to see the February Arts Festival, which is huge. While there got to see and walk around the house. They were also serving breakfast and lunch here.

A small but interesting place. Best described as quirky. Shame you can’t touch some of the furniture to get an idea of its construction. But understandable. A way to get out of the heat for an hour. They have a gift shop opposite where they have some great items, shame they need to charge so much for them.

Really enjoyed our walk along the boardwalk here. Well maintained boardwalk, good little off shoots. Saw a bunch of baby gators during the walk. Really peaceful and quiet along our walk, though at times I imagine this is less so. Combined with lighthouse park.

Stayed in one of the few RV spots they have. That area was full, but the Picnic and Tent camping areas were almost unused.

Pleasant stroll along this park. Well maintained, plentiful parking. We had a nice time quietly strolling along, though I imagine at other times it would be quite busy. We visited Labor Day weekend. Worth a little visit.

We stopped at this antiques mall while visiting Mount Dora. We used to be in the antiques business, and we still collect some items. This mall had some interesting glass and pottery - especially mid-century ceramics. We spent quite a bit of time there. We late visited antiques malls in other nearby towns, and they were not as good.

My wife and I are visited this village to get a few of the real Florida. The farmers market was fun but mainly selling food. I guess that’s what farmers market is ha ha.
The actual village was so quaint so fun and so pretty. We spent the whole day just wandering around.
We also done the walk around the edge of the lake, which took about half an hour. This was great fun as well in the area definitely visit.

Family enjoyed an afternoon at the corn maze. We spent 2 hours enjoying the corn maze, a light lunch and the produce stand. Family friendly.
