David was extremely informative…from instructions on driving the boat to info on the area, he covered it all!! The backwater cat provides a thrilling ride, we especially loved sliding along the water! Not only did we enjoy the ride, we also learned of a few new parks in the area, a waterfront restaurant and some local lore. - Matthew M5 contributionsWe had a really magical afternoon with the family, including 5 adults and 2 kids. We saw dolphins, manatees, sea turtles and bald eagles. My brother-in-law and niece caught two fish. The boat was in excellent condition and the owners were super friendly and knowledgeable. My sister and kids were running late, so they let us move the start and end time back by 30 minutes, so we didn’t lose any time on the water. This is our third time renting from them. In the main channel passing boat wakes made it a little more challenging, but we all did just fine. - DepoelinAnacortes, WA19 contributionsOh how happy we were to find Alex’s Sailing Dream for our recent trip to Palm Coast! And to find she has her boat docked in the Yacht Harbor Marina where we were staying in Hammock Beach made it so convenient!
We knew from the minute we met Ludmila and saw her smile that we were in for a wonderful time! After she took a group shot of us all by her boat Sakura we boarded and quickly made our way out. We had an early morning cruise and had asked for coffee…and she had that along with fresh baked croissants, a beautiful bowl of fruit, soft drinks, snacks….even champagne if we wanted it. We sailed with beautiful music playing as Ludmila interspersed history facts and sights along the way with brain teasers which were rewarded with a Tootsie Pop! She also has all take the helm….for the experience of sailing the boat yourself!
The 2 hours we spent with Ludmila on Sakura / Alex’s Sailing Dream were the highlight of our trip…and the most memorable. We felt we were sailing with an old friend. You will see other boat trips offered…but know this is the BEST! Caught some fish, but honestly I enjoyed listening and learning about area, and the fishing as much as the casting, reeling and catching.
He knows his stuff! Fish were where he thought just finicky. Super cool and fun experience with a guy that loves what he does! That is apparent! Sit back, enjoy the ride and listen to him explain why they are there and what they're doing.

- Jenn Katz3 contributionsMy husband and I got out with Captain Jim Britton a few times a year and we always have a GREAT time. He took our 4 year old(first time on a charter trip) and my husband out this week and I couldn't be happier! My son came home and was so knowledgeable. That's because Captain Jim takes the time to explain things to you as you go. He tells you why you use this bait or why your using a particular artificial. My 4 year old can successfully and accurately cast a 7ft rod because Jim taught him the proper way to do it. He's not your typical capt that's in a rush or just in it for the money. Jim truly loves fishing and knows our waterways. He puts you on the fish every time. I could go on and on about how much we love going out with Captain Jim. But, don't take my advice. He is friendly, reliable and knows fishing in the Palm Coast/ Crescent Beach area. We have always had a great time with Keith and have always caught plenty of fish. Skilled angler and great personality make your time easy and fun. His boat is perfect for the area and he handles it like a pro.
