What travellers are saying
- Tim W1 contributionThis was by far the best family trip that we have ever taken to see animals. Better than any zoo or other reserve.
Every single animal from lions, tigers, and Teddy looked extremely happy and healthy.
Unlike a zoo, these animals were full of life up and moving around, playing, and all around happy.
God bless these volunteers that give their lives to these amazing creatures.Written September 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Learned some very interesting things. People working there are positive, kind, easily approachable, and willing to help if needed,Written August 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Diane KVenice, FL4,582 contributionsWe got here early in the morning and were able to park in the metered lot out front - $2.50 per hour. We got in free with our senior National Parks pass. We enjoyed the Ranger talk that they had in a room with seats and fans. The view from the top level was also great.Written August 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Diane KVenice, FL4,582 contributionsWe parked near the pier. The parking was free. The beach is quite deep. You have to walk up and down a few sets of stairs to reach the sand.Written August 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ryan HBelfair, WA6 contributionsThis place was an awesome experience! While it's a bit on the smaller side, we had an amazing time exploring it. I was bracing for some strong smells but was pleasantly surprised – only a couple spots had a bit of it. Some of the animals seemed a little down, but the overall vibe was great. The highlight? My family absolutely loved the theater show, and holding a baby gator was unforgettable! It’s a bit pricey, but knowing it supports the park and animal rescue makes it worth it. Highly recommend!Written September 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Matthew BColumbus, OH87 contributionsGreat tour and tasting to learn about the distillery and their products. Tour guides and bar tenders were some of the most friendly in town. Definitely worth a stop. Loved the rum and gin!Written August 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Zane Wylie The Skull Carving GuySt. Augustine, FL193 contributionsIn St. Augustine, there’s a street so fine,
Where history and magic perfectly align.
St. George Street’s the name, where time stands still,
A place where every wanderer finds a thrill!
Cobblestones beneath your feet,
Each step’s a joy, a wondrous treat.
Shops and cafes, so quaint and neat,
Every corner’s a gem, a place to meet.
With art and trinkets, oh so rare,
You’ll find treasures beyond compare.
Boutiques that sparkle, with stories to share,
A shopper’s paradise, if you dare!
Hungry? No worries, you’re in luck,
From sweets to seafood, there’s plenty to tuck.
Enjoy a meal, or just a snack,
St. George’s got it all, you’ll keep coming back!
As you wander through this charming lane,
The echoes of history softly remain.
From ancient times to the present day,
St. George Street’s magic won’t fade away.
So if you find yourself in this town so dear,
St. George Street’s a place you must revere.
With charm and whimsy at every bend,
It’s a journey you’ll wish would never end!Written August 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a restaurant in the indoor pool (no water) that smelled delicious but we did not partake this go around. The building itself boasts some great architecture. A must visit!Written September 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Diane KVenice, FL4,582 contributionsWe were here on a day when they were cleaning, so half of the facility was blocked off. - Zane Wylie The Skull Carving GuySt. Augustine, FL193 contributionsWhere history’s charm is a real-life illusion!
With cells and gallows and tales so grand,
You’ll feel like you’ve traveled to a far-off land.
The guides spin stories with flair and with fun,
Of outlaws and legends, and what’s to be done.
The old-timey jail’s got its quirks and its cheer,
A whimsical trip you’ll want to reappear!
Peek through the bars and imagine the scene,
Of the wildest old tales you’ve ever seen.
In St. Augustine’s heart, where the past does play,
The Old Jail Museum will brighten your day!
So grab your hat and come take a stroll,
Through this historic site that’s good for the soul.
With laughter and history both in full view,
The Old Jail Museum’s the spot for you!Written August 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - JenniferVero Beach, FL67 contributions
