You get a great overview of the layout of the city, its colorful history, and a long list of places to eat and museums to explore.
Our guide, Pat, was winsome, knowledgeable, and so very entertaining. It is a unique and peaceful experience. So many beautiful birds! Our exceptional guide Patrick entertained us with interesting information about the mangrove tunnels. We had a terrific time!

Dereck called me because it was going to rain the night I had scheduled. Upon his suggestion we rescheduled for the Wednesday morning Myakka River State Preserve bike tour and boy were we not disappointed.
Dereck and Jack were awesome guides. First they brought us through how to use the E~Bikes, then covered safety and off we went. It was a fun ride at the perfect pace for all of us, young and old. They were very informative about the history of the preserve and all the plants, birds and animals we saw. The big gators did not disappoint and were abundant on the shoreline at a safe distance.
It's such a beautiful place and we covered so much more ground on the bikes than we would have on a self-guided walk. Great experience overall and I highly recommend it to anyone. Next time we are going to do the sunset tour, I'm sure it will also be a great experience. We were lucky to find a playful group of dolphins during our outing. We will book another tour when we are back in town. - thriftygirlMarylandMaryland4 contributionsThis was a fantastic 2 hour tour of the Mangrove trees on Lido Key. It was 5 of us, 2 teenagers, 2 adults & an almost 80 year old Grandma. They helped us in and out of the kayaks and into the water without issue . We are not expert paddlers, but had some previous experience & did just fine. Patrick, our guide, was exceptional. He was patient & thoughtful. He had great stories to tell & was knowledgeable about the area & the wildlife. You could tell he really appreciated nature & the beauty of the area. Even though it wasn't hot outside it was great. They provide windbreakers and everything you need! Just perfect! - Robert D12 contributionsFriendly and knowledgeable staff, had bug spray for guests. Very calm experience and mostly shallow water. Unfortunately didn’t see any manatees dolphins or sharks as hoped but not their fault. Got feed and see lots of catfish needle fish and saw some crabs. Good view of downtown Sarasota.
